In response to the Polio Outbreak declared by the Department of Health, the Rotaract District 3860 strongly encourages Filipino Families to have Polio Vaccinations for their children! About 19 years after the declaration of the World Health Organization that Philippines was already Polio Free, another threat to the Philippine Public Health emerges with this outbreak. Polio is considered a contagious viral illness which causes nerve injury, paralysis, and even death.

Let us educate our families and friends that vaccines work. Let us cultivate a clean, healthy and sustainable community for the current and future generation.

"SESO Candy Shop symbolizes... sweetness, but a whole lot more."

If candy is sweet, Science is even sweeter.
Science Education Students' Organization of the University of San Carlos promotes
Science literacy at this instant, in the past and until the end of time. Most people, if not all,
are attracted to the saccharine end product of candies. We deliberately structured a
Candy Shop in a Carnival to accentuate the sweetness of learning Science; its fruits and
most especially, its process. The rainbow-like design fits to the description of a Candy Shop
and significantly, explains the nature of learning Science. If we've only learned seeing it in
the right perspective, we will take Science just like we eat candies but even sweeter. We, the
organization, on our part, will make that idea a reality.
