The University of Bohol Supreme Student Government (UBSSG) is calling on dedicated, responsible, and service-driven UBians to step forward and become part of the UBSSG Blue Brigade!

The Blue Brigade is a student volunteer group dedicated to supporting the University of Bohol through active participation in school activities, events, programs, and various student initiatives. More than simply lending a helping hand, the Blue Brigade provides students with opportunities to practice leadership, teamwork, discipline, civic responsibility, and genuine service.

As we continue to build a stronger and more engaged UBian community, we invite students who are willing to share their time, effort, skills, and commitment in making every university activity safer, more organized, and more meaningful.

Whether it is assisting in events, guiding participants, supporting committees, maintaining order, or simply being ready to help when needed — every volunteer has a role to play. 💙

The University of Bohol came alive with pride, energy, and school spirit during the Annual Pep Rally, held on October 2, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, bringing the university community together in one powerful celebration of the Flying Lemurs.

With this year’s theme, “Unite, Believe, Unleash Braveness!”, the event honored the passion, discipline, and determination of the university athletes as they prepare to represent the University of Bohol in the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 14 with courage and pride.

The rally featured athletes from basketball, volleyball, karatedo, taekwondo, swimming, track and field, weightlifting, and other sporting disciplines, showcasing not only their athleticism but also the strength of unity and the spirit of sportsmanship that binds the university community together.

From the cheers that echoed across the venue to the energy brought by the athletes, the Pep Rally was more than a celebration; it was a reminder that behind every jersey is a student who carries the hopes and pride of the University of Bohol.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒’ 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐈𝐤𝐚𝐰 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧!📚

As part of PAG-AGAK 2026, the University of Bohol celebrated International Teachers’ Day, carrying the theme “Teacher, Ikaw Naman!” on October 2, 2026, at the UB Gymnasium.

Held in the afternoon following the Care for Carers symposium, the celebration brought the university community together to recognize and appreciate both teaching and non-teaching personnel who continuously guide, inspire, and shape the lives of their students.

The celebration featured messages of gratitude from university scholars, gifts from the Local SSG, and cupcakes and pins from the UB SSG, making the occasion a meaningful expression of appreciation for those who dedicate themselves to serving the university community.

More than a celebration, “Teacher, Ikaw Naman!” was a reminder that those who spend their days caring for and nurturing others deserve to be cared for, appreciated, and celebrated, too.💙

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄: 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 🩷

On October 2, 2026, the University of Bohol Student Supreme Government (UB SSG), in partnership with the Alturas Group of Companies, brought together students, visitors, and participants from schools across Tagbilaran City for the Strands of Love: Hair Donation Campaign at the UB IRC Auditorium.

The campaign began with an informative symposium featuring Carmel Therese Tiu, GCGMMC Nurse Manager, who shared valuable insights on cancer. This was followed by a meaningful talk show with cancer survivor, Glory Gorospe Roslinda, who shared her journey of hope, resilience, and strength.

The program then continued with the hair-cutting session, where participants generously donated their hair as a simple yet meaningful act of love and solidarity for individuals affected by cancer.

Every strand donated carries a piece of love, and every cut becomes a gesture of support. 💇🏻‍♀️🩷

𝐏𝐀𝐆-𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐊 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 💙

Organized by the University of Bohol Guidance Center, PAG-AGAK 2026 carried the theme “You Will Be Safe,” bringing together the university community in a celebration of care, wellness, and connection on October 2, 2026.

The day began with a Holy Mass at the UB Gym, followed by the Learning Session for UB-JHS. Meanwhile, the Pag-Agak Opening Program and opening of various booths took place at the UB Quadrangle.

At the UB-IMC, the Employee’s Pamper Corner, in partnership with the University of Bohol Human Resource Department, offered free massage, manicure, and pedicure services for teaching and non-teaching employees, providing them with an opportunity to relax and enjoy a moment of self-care.

In the afternoon, Agak Fest continued at the UB Quadrangle, featuring performances from four bands, while the Care for Carers symposium was simultaneously held at the UB Gym.

A lively Zumba session at the UB Quadrangle brought the university community together through movement, energy, and fun, before the day concluded with Praise & Worship at the same venue, offering everyone a space for reflection, connection, and encouragement.

PAG-AGAK 2026 reminds us that beyond the challenges we face, we are not alone—and we can always find a safe space in one another. 💙
