𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙋 𝙎𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 | April 11, 2025

In our shared mission to safeguard the youth and community, the UB Supreme Student Government successfully held the AGAP: Drug Awareness and Prevention Symposium with the theme 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞, with the special participation of the Grade 11 student of VDTALC SHS featuring insights from experts like Mr. Robin R. Culpa from the City Health Office and IA V Ferndennand A. Kintanar of PDEA Bohol.

Through engaging discussions, open forums, and group sessions, UBians were enlightened on the dangers of illegal drugs and the power of informed choices. Together, we stand—aware, empowered, and drug-free.

LOOK | Orientation & Consultation Meeting on Random Drug Testing

The meeting took place on May 15, 2024, at the UB Gymnasium holding the attention of the students from various departments, student government, school publication, and the AGAP Committee. The Office of the Student/Personnel Services in collaboration with the Supreme Student Government is to execute Phase 3 of the AGAP: Barkadahang UBian Kontra Droga campaign in conducting the Random Drug Testing for the coming school year 2024-2025. SPS Dean, Dr. Lemuel O. Belarmino concisely presented the policies grounded in conducting the Random Drug Testing for the next school year and the specific procedures the students will undergo once approved along with the assurance of the randomness, confidentiality, data privacy, and legitimacy of the entire process.

An open forum followed after the presentation which was all answered by Sir Belarmino before the meeting adjourned with all questions answered and none followed.
