On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗔 - 𝗧𝗕𝗕: 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 was officially recognized for the academic year 2024-2025 as one of the extra-curricular organizations of Holy Name University by the Campus Student Organizations. The club officers, headed by 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻, and the club adviser, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗴, took their oath of office during the recognition ceremony.

Founded by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗞𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, the club aims to promote Filipino martial arts and culture among the youth. This renewed recognition highlights the club’s continued commitment to establishing cultural appreciation and physical discipline among its members.

We congratulate the newly sworn-in officers and look forward to the enriching activities the club will bring to our university.

Last July 8-13, 2024, ISAGA-TBB: Filipino Martial Arts Club participated in Summer Camp 2024 and other recognized organizations of Holy Name University.

This event was initiated by CELP-Holy Name University, which aimed to share diverse talents and help develop these talents among the participants. During the camp, ISAGA taught the participants the fundamental skills and knowledge of arnis. On the last day of the summer camp, they showcased what they had learned through a recitation.

We at ISAGA would like to thank the event organizers for giving us this opportunity to put our goal of spreading appreciation of Filipino martial arts into action.
