Last February 21, 2026, the 𝑪𝒐𝒄𝒂-𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒂 𝑩𝒐𝒉𝒐𝒍 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 conducted a meaningful outreach activity as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The team generously dedicated their Saturday to spend quality time with the Deaf student beneficiaries of Bohol Deaf Academy, bringing not only support but also joy and encouragement.

The outreach was filled with fun and engaging games that the students actively and enthusiastically participated in. Laughter and excitement filled the day as everyone enjoyed the activities prepared especially for them. In addition, the students received grocery packages and free packed lunches, which were truly a blessing and a tangible expression of care and generosity.

Thank you, Coca-Cola Bohol Plant Outreach Team, for sharing your time, resources, and hearts with our Deaf student beneficiaries. Your kindness and commitment to making a difference have truly created a memorable and meaningful experience for our students. 🤟💙🥰

On February 19, 2026, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2025, Katrina Johnson, visited Bohol Deaf Academy, further strengthening her advocacy for the Deaf community. Growing up with a Deaf/oralist father, Katrina witnessed both the beauty and the challenges of Deaf culture firsthand. She understands the communication barriers, limited access to opportunities, and social neglect that many Deaf individuals face in the Philippines.

During her visit, she interacted with students, faculty, and staff, taking the time to communicate, listen, and share words of encouragement. She also generously distributed school bags with supplies, bringing joy and motivation to our learners.

Katrina continued her visit by exploring the training grounds of our students and the workplaces that provide job opportunities for the Deaf, the Dao Diamond Hotel and Restaurant and Garden Cafe Tagbilaran, taking the time to personally interact with the Deaf workers. Her presence not only inspired the Deaf community but also raised awareness about the importance of inclusivity, equal opportunities, and greater support for Deaf individuals across the country.

We are grateful for her visit and for wholeheartedly using her platform to uplift and empower the Deaf community. Thank you for standing with us, believing in our students, and amplifying voices that deserve to be heard.

As you continue your journey on the international stage, the Bohol Deaf Academy community wishes you the very best of luck and success! 💙🤟🙌

For years, your generosity has helped open doors of opportunity, creating safe spaces for learning and growth. Because of you, our students continue to believe that their dreams are possible. 🤗🥰

We are grateful to God for sustaining this partnership and inspiring your service, which brought encouragement and renewed hope to our Deaf community. 🤝🤎

On Sunday, February 8, 2026, the Philippine Dental Association, Inc. – Bohol Chapter successfully conducted a dental mission that served a total of 159 beneficiaries, composed of Deaf students and the staff of Bohol Deaf Academy (BDA), IDEA International Deaf Education Association and VDLP.

This meaningful outreach was made possible through the generous support of the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines-Bohol, Bohol Island Lions Club, and Bohol Lady Lions Club District 301-B2. 🤝

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers and partners who generously dedicated their Sunday to serve our Deaf community. Your selfless efforts—providing free dental services such as tooth cleaning and extractions, essential medicines, and even ice cream to comfort those who underwent procedures—brought not only relief, but also joy and reassurance. 🙌

Our sincere thanks also go to the dedicated staff of IDEA and Bohol Deaf Academy, whose careful coordination and attention to detail ensured that all arrangements were in place and that the activity flowed smoothly. Thank you for your unwavering support and teamwork. 🎉

Your compassion and generosity truly made a difference. You helped create brighter, healthier smiles and reminded our students that they are seen, valued, and cared for. 💙🤟
