Bohol Deaf Academy A private, Christian, residential high school for the Deaf Bohol Deaf Academy is a private, Christian, residential high school for the Deaf.

Established in 2005, we are accredited as an outstanding school by the Philippine’s Department of Education. Our curriculum includes both standard High School coursework and extensive vocational training subjects. At Bohol Deaf Academy (BDA) the students are exposed to so much more than just reading and writing, they are trained in various other skills for daily living, for work and with good Christian values. BDA’s concern is to truly prepare its graduates for life after high school. Because BDA is a residential school, learning doesn’t end when classes are out at 5:00PM. The students participate in chores like preparing meals, running the school store, and keeping their campus clean. They belong to dormitory bungalow units and have responsibilities for their “homes”. Students are able to seek after school help with their lessons from other students or staff. And they enjoy the on-campus extra curricular events such as sports and movies. One of the best reasons for a deaf student to attend BDA is they are given exposure and training in many vocational skills. Hands-on training allows them acquire work skills in a professional setting that will prepare them to earn a living after they graduate. It’s a very competitive world out there, and it really helps to have the advantage of a better education. Bohol Deaf Academy provides just that.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, buong pagmamalaking ipinarada ng mga mag-aaral ng Bohol Deaf Academy ang kanilang mga pambansang kasuotan, alinsunod sa temang “Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.” Naging tampok sa pagdiriwang ang makukulay at makasining na kasuotan na sumasalamin sa mayamang kultura at pagkakakilanlan ng bawat mag-aaral.

Kasunod nito, isinagawa ang pagkuha ng mga larawan ng mga mag-aaral mula sa bawat baitang, kasama ang kanilang mga tagapayo at punong-guro, bilang paggunita at pagpapahalaga sa makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika. 🇵🇭🇵🇭

With the theme “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, Bohol Deaf Academy celebrated Nutrition Month by providing Deaf students with opportunities to showcase their skills, creativity, and talents through various competitions, including a Cooking Contest, Poster-Making Contest, and Quiz Bee.

The celebration fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and healthy competition among the students while enhancing their knowledge of nutrition and environmental stewardship. More than just a series of contests, the event encouraged active participation, built self-confidence, and allowed students to develop their practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking in a fun and inclusive learning environment. 🍆🥕🍅
