The 18th Student Congress has officially adopted Resolution No. 28, Series of 2026–2027, requesting the Holy Name University Administration, through the Office of the Center for Student Affairs, to allow tertiary students to enter the University wearing departmental shirts or corporate attire in lieu of the regular uniform starting at 5:00 PM on weekdays.

The proposed measure seeks to provide students with greater convenience and flexibility while allowing them to express their departmental identity through appropriate attire. It aims to accommodate students during the specified time while maintaining proper standards within the University.

This resolution reflects the Congress’ commitment to promoting student convenience and expression while responding to the everyday needs of the tertiary student community.

The 18th Student Congress has officially adopted Resolution No. 27, Series of 2026–2027, urging the Local Government Units and recognized campus student organizations of Holy Name University to conduct mental health awareness initiatives in observance of National Mental Health Awareness Month.

The proposed measure seeks to encourage meaningful mental health awareness initiatives that promote understanding, support, and open conversations within the University community. It encourages student organizations and Local Government Units to actively participate in initiatives that can help foster a more informed and supportive campus environment.

Through this resolution, the Congress emphasizes the importance of student participation in promoting mental health awareness and building a community that values understanding, compassion, and support.
