WHEN EDUCATION BECOMES OPPORTUNITY

At Tagbilaran City College, skills training is more than learning a craft—it is about creating opportunities for people to build a better and more sustainable future.

The first batch of TCC Tailoring NC II completers received their sewing machine units, giving them the tools to turn their skills into livelihood and their training into a source of income.

This is a promise fulfilled.

Mayor Jane Yap and Congressman John Geesnell Baba Yap committed to supporting our completers beyond the classroom, helping ensure that the skills they acquired can lead to meaningful and sustainable livelihood.

From skills to opportunity.
From training to livelihood.
From learning to empowerment.

Because at TCC, education is not only about earning a certificate—it is about creating a future.

💚 GREEN FOR INTEGRITY — PUBLIC SERVICE WITH HEART

From every corner of Tagbilaran City College, we stand together — dressed in green, the color of integrity, honesty, and unwavering service.

Green reminds us: we grow together, we serve with purity of purpose, and we remain true, transparent, and trustworthy in every duty we do. As public servants — whether in classrooms, offices, grounds, or wherever our work takes us — our mission is simple: to serve the people, to uplift our community, and to build a better future through education and service.

Every task, big or small, matters. Every act of honesty counts. Every effort we make — done with integrity — is a gift to our students, our colleagues, and our beloved city. Let this green attire be our promise: we serve with clean hands, sincere hearts, and full dedication.

Proud to serve. Proud to be part of TCC. Together, let us shine as one — living out the true spirit of public service! 💚

STUDENTS SERVING STUDENTS. HEARTS SERVING A COMMUNITY.

At Tagbilaran City College, education goes beyond the classroom—it is about caring, sharing, and serving.

Through the continuing partnership between Tagbilaran City College and the Tzu Chi Foundation, the SEED (Supporting Education with Everyday Dining) Program - the TCC School Pantry, continues to provide nourishment and hope to our students.

Adding to this spirit of service, the Legame Athlima, together with our Campus Student Organizations and the Student Movement for Christ International (SMCI), prepared food to support the SEED Program.

This is the TCC spirit: when we come together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our fellow students.

Nourishing students. Strengthening community. Transforming lives.

TCC SCHOLARSHIP OFFICE PRESENTS THE AGAK SCHOLARSHIP JOURNEY

The TCC Scholarship Office, through Scholarship Coordinator Ms. Mary Hygia Arcayan, presented the AGAK Scholarship Journey during the meeting of the Bohol Diocesan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BDMPC).

With Dr. Del Mark A. Cagatin, College President, the presentation highlighted the meaningful impact of the AGAK Scholarship Program—an initiative that goes beyond financial assistance by creating opportunities, restoring hope, and changing lives through education.

Among the inspiring stories are six AGAK scholars from different parts of the province, now given the opportunity to pursue their dreams at Tagbilaran City College.

AGAK is more than a scholarship. It is a bridge from hope to opportunity, from dreams to reality, and from education to a better future.

TATAK TCC: TCCians SERVING TCCians

SEED PROGRAM CONTINUES TO NOURISH THE TCC COMMUNITY

At Tagbilaran City College (TCC), caring for students is part of our commitment to creating a community where no student is left behind.

The SEED Program – School Pantry Program continues to provide daily meals to TCC students through the generous partnership of TCC and the Tzu Chi Foundation.

The program provides nourishing meals, including vegetable-inspired viands, helping ensure that students have access to food as they attend classes, participate in school activities, and pursue their education.

But the SEED Program is more than simply providing food.

It is also an opportunity for TCC students to serve fellow TCCians.

The College’s Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) take an active role in the preparation, cooking, and daily serving of meals, demonstrating that student leadership is not only about representation—it is about service, responsibility, and compassion.

The organizations that commenced the daily serving include:

🔹 TIES – The Innovative Entrepreneurs’ Society
🔹 TEVS – Tourism Edu-Venture Society
🔹 TEAM – The Enthusiasts in Administration and Management
🔹 Student Movement for Christ International
🔹 Association of Student Scholars

Through their volunteerism, these student organizations embody a simple but powerful principle:

STUDENTS SERVING STUDENTS.

Every meal prepared.
Every plate served.
Every student welcomed.

These seemingly simple acts reflect the kind of community we continue to build at TCC—a college where students do not only learn together, but also look after one another.

This is Tatak TCC.

A culture of service.
A culture of compassion.
A culture of student leadership.
A culture of community.
