On 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the Bohol Island State University (BISU) – Main Campus brought a little extra joy and pampering to its faculty and staff through the 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐔 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, held as part of 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟒 – 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡-𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐀).

Anchored on the theme “𝑩𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒊, 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒊: 𝑷𝒖𝒔𝒐, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍, 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏, the activity provided employees with a meaningful opportunity to pause, relax, and enjoy complimentary beauty and wellness services brought directly to their respective workplaces.

Faculty and staff were treated to 𝑯𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑰𝒓𝒐𝒏/𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒘-𝑫𝒓𝒚, 𝑬𝒚𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆. Through an office-to-office arrangement, employees were able to conveniently enjoy these services with the assistance and participation of invited service providers and student volunteers, creating moments of relaxation, fellowship, and camaraderie across the BISU community.

More than a wellness activity, the 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 served as a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and valuable contributions of BISU faculty and staff. It highlighted the importance of employee well-being and self-care while recognizing BISU personnel as Lingkod Bayani who continue to serve with commitment, integrity, and excellence in support of the University's mission and public service.

The activity was led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐆. 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫, University HRM Director, in collaboration with the Campus Human Resource Director, University Rewards and Recognition Focal Persons, and the UHRMO team.

The BISU-UHRMO extends its sincere appreciation to the invited service providers and student volunteers from 𝐁𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 – 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, whose valuable support contributed to the success of the activity.

Bohol Island State University, through the University Human Resource Management Office, welcomes two professionals from the University of the Philippines Los Baños for Project UGMAD Session 6: Document Tracking, Records Management, and Records Accountability.

📌𝓜𝓜𝓼. 𝓒𝔃𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓪 𝓜𝓪𝔂 𝓔. 𝓜𝓪𝓰𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓪, 𝓜𝓢, University Extension Specialist II and Head of the Knowledge Management, Extension, and Public Service Section of the UPLB Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, brings experience in knowledge and information management, digital systems, and institutional process improvement. She has also served as a member of the UP System Task Force tasked with developing the University’s Digital Transformation Roadmap. For Session 6, she will share insights on Document Tracking and UPLB’s DocTrax system.

📌 𝓜𝓼. 𝓐𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓱 𝓝. 𝓓𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓵𝓲𝓼, Administrative Officer and Officer-in-Charge of the UPLB Records Management Office, will lead the discussion on Records Management and Records Accountability. Her session will emphasize the systematic handling, classification, protection, retention, and accountability of institutional records—functions central to an effective records-management system.

Bohol Island State University (BISU) Main Campus strengthened its commitment to employee welfare and health awareness through the 𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐏 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, conducted on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲) at the 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐋𝐑𝐂).

The activity formed part of the University's celebration of the 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐀), anchored on the theme: “𝑩𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒊, 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒊: 𝑷𝒖𝒔𝒐, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍, 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏.”

The program aimed to provide BISU faculty and staff with relevant information about the YAKAP PhilHealth Program, particularly its available healthcare services, benefits, and procedures for accessing PhilHealth support.

The afternoon activity began with the Registration and Assembly of Faculty and Staff, followed by the Prayer and Singing of Hymns, accompanied by recorded music. The formal program proceeded with a Statement of Purpose delivered by 𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐄𝐍 𝐂. 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐉𝐎, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, Campus HR.

The highlight of the activity was the presentation on the 𝐘𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐏 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐲𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐨, 𝐑𝐌𝐓, 𝐌𝐃, Medical Officer III. The session provided faculty and staff with valuable information about the program, including a demonstration on how to apply for YAKAP through the eGovPH app, and helped deepen their understanding of the health services and benefits available through PhilHealth.

An Open Forum followed the presentation, providing employees with an opportunity to raise questions, clarify concerns, and seek further information regarding the YAKAP PhilHealth Program. The activity also featured the presentation of certificates and tokens, followed by a photo opportunity, in recognition of the speaker and other individuals whose support and participation contributed to the successful conduct of the program.

The activity was organized through the University Human Resource Management Office (UHRMO) under the leadership of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐆. 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫, University HRM Director, in collaboration with the Campus Human Resource Director, University Rewards and Recognition Focal Persons, and the UHRMO team.

Through initiatives such as the YAKAP PhilHealth Program, BISU continues to bring relevant government services closer to its employees while promoting health awareness and supporting their well-being. The activity likewise reflected the spirit of the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary by recognizing the importance of caring for public servants who dedicate their knowledge, skills, and service to the institution and the Filipino people.

The gathering also provided an important venue for strengthening the University’s processes, ensuring fairness and consistency in the validation process, and recognizing the exemplary contributions of BISU personnel.

𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, the conference provided a venue for the careful review and validation of nominations considered for the 2026 PRAISE Awards. The discussions emphasized the importance of applying the established criteria consistently and objectively, ensuring that the recognition of exemplary service and performance is anchored on merit, integrity, and excellence.

In addition to the PRAISE deliberations, the conference also included the review and finalization of the proposed BISU Week 2026 activities and program for the 17th BISU Charter Day. Committee members and validators shared their valuable insights and recommendations in refining the proposed activities and program, supporting the University’s preparations for a meaningful celebration of its achievements, milestones, and the dedication of its personnel.

The successful conduct of the conference reflects the collective commitment of the PRAISE Committee Members and Validators to uphold excellence, integrity, and fairness in the University’s PRAISE Program. Bohol Island State University (BISU) strengthened its commitment to employee welfare and accessible public service through the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, as part of the University's celebration of the 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 (𝐏𝐂𝐒𝐀).

Anchored on the theme “𝑩𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒊, 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒅 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒊: 𝑷𝒖𝒔𝒐, 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍, 𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏,” the activity provided BISU faculty and staff with a convenient opportunity to access essential government services, seek assistance, and learn more about programs and benefits available to them—all within the BISU-Main Campus.

The activity was led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐆. 𝐎𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐫, University HRM Director, in collaboration with the Campus Human Resource Director, University Rewards and Recognition Focal Persons, and the UHRMO team.

The afternoon program began with the registration and assembly of faculty and staff, followed by the Prayer and Singing of Hymns. The formal program continued with a Welcome Address delivered by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐃. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞, JD, SAO-Admin, on behalf of the Campus Director, followed by the Statement of Purpose delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐧 𝐂. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐨, Campus HR.

A major highlight of the activity was the Lingkod Bayani Government Services Express, which brought participating government agencies directly to the BISU campus, making their services more accessible and convenient for faculty and staff.

The 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 provided Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card and Membership Services, assisting employees with their membership concerns and guiding them on the available services and requirements. Meanwhile, the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐏𝐒𝐀) provided National ID/PhilSys Services, assisting faculty and staff with registration and other concerns related to the Philippine Identification System.

The 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐒𝐒𝐒) also provided Social Security Services, including assistance related to the 𝐀𝐔𝐁 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩, giving employees guidance on available SSS services and digital transactions.

The program also featured the 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐬, followed by a 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, in recognition of the participating agencies and individuals whose support contributed to the success of the activity.

From 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, the Government Services Express continued through queries and personalized assistance, guiding employees on how to avail themselves of the various government cards, identification services, savings programs, and other benefits, including the necessary requirements and application procedures.

Organized through the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐔𝐇𝐑𝐌𝐎), the activity demonstrated BISU's commitment to bringing responsive and accessible government services closer to its employees. By gathering various service providers in one venue, faculty and staff were given the convenience of addressing their concerns, completing necessary transactions, and learning about available government programs without having to leave the campus.

More than a service caravan, the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 reflected the spirit of the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary by recognizing that those who dedicate themselves to public service also deserve accessible, responsive, and people-centered government services.
