We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to share that one of our Grade 8 students was recently involved in a motorbike accident on May 5, 2026.
This accident has left her and another family member severely injured, while her grandmother (also Tc Anna Bautista's mother) has sadly succumbed to injuries just today.
While she is currently receiving medical care in Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center, the road to recovery will be long and challenging.
As a community that prides itself on looking out for one another, we are launching a donation drive to assist with mounting medical expenses and funeral costs.
📌How to Help: We are grateful for any contribution, whether it is financial support, medical supplies, in-kind, or simply keeping the Bautista family in your thoughts and prayers.
📌Donation Drop-off: Bautista residence located beside GreAtMinds Leadership Academy
📌For monetary donations: Tc Anna's GCash
Let’s come together to help our fellow GLAians during this difficult time. Thank you for your solidarity, compassion, generosity!

Look at these happy faces after a successful PEAC Certification activity ☺️
Today marked the culmination of our almost year-long preparations for certification. The certification process was a journey of self-assessment, planning, going back to the basics of teaching-learning, rigorous trainings, tedious document preparations, crafting systems, and collecting evidences. It was challenging but a very necessary step in order for GLA to grow and improve. Now that it's done we are excited for what's to come as we apply what we've learnt for the benefit of our !
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our team -- our teachers, staff, & admins. We managed it all, over and above the usual requirements of daily operations. This was a lot to take on in the past months, but we worked together harmoniously & diligently, focused on one unified goal, contributing what we can to achieve what we aimed to do, while not forgetting to smile & laugh in the midst of stress and pressure.
Thank you to our who were selected by PEAC to participate in the interviews today. Facing a panel of certifiers & answering their questions is a daunting task for students. They studied school policies and processes, answered honestly and confidently, giving the certifiers a glimpse of their learning encounters.
Thank you also to the rest of our school community -- parents & students who cheered us on & gave us their utmost understanding when we had to switch to asynchronous learning when certification-related activites fell on school days.
Lastly, thank you to our friends at NSS Education Consultancy who guided us along the way and facilitated our many trainings. Your expertise, tips, advice, and encouragement has made it easier for us to navigate the road to certification.
Now we can offer tuition subsidies for incoming Junior High School students through the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program. This is a big help for families. This is also good practice for us, just in time for when it expands to Kinder & Elementary soon.
A pat on the back, GLAians! 🥰🥰🥰

You know the drill -- your asynchronous tasks will be sent tomorrow in your class group chats.
We would also like to inform you that our class & graduation pictorials is moved to Feb. 18. Since Feb 18 is a Wednesday & you need to wear your complete uniform for our pictorials, we will have our wash day on Thursday, Feb 19 instead.
Please stay at home! We anticipate heavy rains in the coming days. ⛈️☔️
