Sharing Smiles and Support at Cabawan Orphanage with MNHS SCA and HNU-IBED SCA🧸🌟

Driven by their motto "To restore all things in Christ," the Student Catholic Action (SCA) of Manga National High School, in collaboration with Holy Name University Integrated Basic Education Department, made a heartwarming visit to an orphanage in Cabawan, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. This outreach event was a beautiful expression of faith in action, as SCA members from Manga National High School and Holy Name University Integrated Basic Education Department dedicated their time and resources to uplift the lives of the children.

More than just a donation drive, the team sought to create meaningful connections. They generously provided essential goods and supplies to support the orphanage's needs, ensuring that the spirit of charity touched those who needed it most. But the true highlight of the day was the interaction between the students and the children.

The orphanage buzzed with excitement as team members engaged the children in lively games and activities. Laughter echoed through the halls, transforming the visit into a vibrant celebration of community, love, and shared humanity. This day of service blended compassion with play, leaving everyone with a profound sense of joy and renewed purpose.

𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟭: 𝟭𝟴-𝟮𝟰

18 This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:

23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

On this blessed day, the Student Catholic Action (SCA) family leads the faithful in honoring the birth of the Mother of our Savior, the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🎂💐 With hearts uplifted in prayer 🙏 and voices raised in devotion 🎶, we celebrate her life of holiness, humility, and unwavering obedience to God’s will. 🌟💙
