From Campus Journalism to Real-World Journalism: The Division Schools Press Conference Prepares to Ignite Minds in Bohol

Bohol, Philippines - In preparation for the Division Schools Press Conference 2024, the event committee chairpersons, co-chairpersons, and Bohol Association of Schools Paper Advisers (BASPA) officers gathered this afternoon, January 31, 2024 for a crucial meeting.

The meeting, called for by the English Program Supervisor (EPS) in English, Mr. Pablito D. Villalon, aimed to finalize the preparations and ensure that every detail is meticulously planned to guarantee a seamless and memorable event.

This year's DSPC is set to kick off with great fervor on February 6-7, 2024, for high school students, followed by February 8–9, 2024, for elementary pupils.

This highly anticipated event will take place at the Bohol Cultural Center, where young journalists will gather to explore the theme "From Campus Journalism to Real-World Journalism: Shaping Minds from Schools to Societies."

The Bohol Cultural Center in Tagbilaran City, with its spacious halls and an array of functional technological availability, will provide the participants with an immersive and inspiring experience throughout the conference.

As the opening day of the event approaches, excitement and anticipation are building among participants and organizers alike.

The DSPC 2024 promises to be an extraordinary event that will ignite young minds and inspire a new generation of journalists inasmuch as it offers an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and develop the skills necessary to make a difference in their communities.
