The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) was established through the enactment of Republic Act No. 7796 otherwise known as the "Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994", which was signed into law by President Fidel V. This Act aims to encourage the full participation of and mobilize the industry, labor, local government units and technical-vocational institutions in the skills development of the country's human resources.

On June 6, 2026, the scholars of Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) NC II under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), conducted by TESDA-Bohol, successfully participated in a Coastal Clean-Up and Team Building Activity held at Dumaluan, Panglao, Bohol.

The activity was organized to promote environmental awareness, strengthen camaraderie among the scholars, and encourage teamwork through meaningful community engagement. By taking part in the coastal clean-up, the scholars contributed to the preservation of the area's natural beauty while demonstrating their commitment to environmental responsibility.

The team-building activities further fostered cooperation, communication, and unity among the participants, strengthening camaraderie and promoting a positive learning environment. Through this initiative, the trainees demonstrated not only their commitment to skills development but also the values of teamwork, leadership, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
