Not only is it where the Sinulog Festival, one of the grandest festivals of the Philippines is celebrated, but it is famously the ๐ข๐ค๐จ๐ฉ ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐-๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐๐ in the country with 3.29 MILLION registered voters. As per municipality, ๐ค๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐๐ tops the list as the ๐ข๐ค๐จ๐ฉ ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐-๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ in the country with 1.4 MILLION registered voters.

๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ค๐ฃ, being the Philippines' largest and most populated island, is also the island group with the most registered voters in the country. This is also the case as per region. ๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐- ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฉ๐๐๐ง๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ค๐, being the top region in terms of population count, is also the region with the most registered voters.
This coming May 9, 2022, with no divisions and distinctions, let us come as one and vote for the betterment of our entire country. From Luzon to Mindanao, let us do the math and make a difference!

As to s*x, there are ๐ข๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐๐ง๐จ than males for the May 2022 Elections. The gender gap is 2.38% in favor of women. As to age, the largest age-group who are registered voters is the ๐๐๐-๐๐ง๐ค๐ช๐ฅ 31-59 at 51%.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has recorded more than four million new voters belonging to the 18 to 21 age group. As we have mentioned here in Statistics in Politics before, thereโs a great significance of the youth vote in the coming election. Over the last 5 elections, the Filipino voter turnout ranged between 72-81%. What will it be this election? As of September 2021, 60.46 ๐ข๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ค๐จ are already registered for the 2022 general elections. Out of that total, 31.41 million voters are in the age group of 18-40 years old, classified as the youth voteโ solidifying the significance of the youth vote in the coming election.
