Celebrating Excellence in Motion ✨

The month of March highlights a series of outstanding achievements from the Skilartales Performing Group, as its members continue to bring pride and honor to Bohol Island State University through their talent, discipline, and passion for the performing arts.

Last March 4, 2026, the Skilartales Streetdance Team clinched the Champion title, while the Indigenous Dance Team secured the 3rd Runner-Up position during ASUGBOHOL 2026, held at Cebu Technological University. Both teams proudly represented the university, showcasing cultural excellence and competitive artistry. Following their victory, the Streetdance Team is set to represent Region VII in Iloilo City this coming April 8, 2026.

Continuing this momentum, on March 29, 2026, Skilartales members Russel John Cupal and Christina Lagura, together with T-MATES, emerged as Champions in the Team Division of World of Dance Philippines 2026, held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Their victory reflects their dedication and excellence on a national stage. They are set to represent the Philippines at the World of Dance Summit in Anaheim, California, USA.

These achievements stand as a testament to the group’s unwavering commitment to their craft. The Skilartales Performing Group proudly congratulates its members for their success in both ASUGBOHOL 2026 and World of Dance Philippines 2026, and extends its full support as they take the stage on even bigger platforms.
