As part of the 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🔬🧮, the Math Club, together with the STEM Organization and Science Club, dove into bringing excitement to the “𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐢-𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 2025–2026” at San Jose National High School Campus last September 19, 2025, Friday.

🧬The event was charged with enthusiasm as students raced through fun, brain-teasing challenges at every station, combining both science and math.🎲

Kudos to all the participants for their energy, curiosity, and teamwork, making the race a hit!✨

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬?🤔

There is a hidden formula in the famous quadratic formula! ✨
The little part under the square root (√) in the quadratic formula is called the discriminant 🔎—and it tells us how many solutions a quadratic will have before you even solve it!

If it’s positive, you get two real solutions.

If it’s zero, you get one perfect solution.

If it’s negative, you enter the world of imaginary numbers.

Today, the Math Club successfully held the Math Jenga Contest, a unique challenge combining mathematical problem-solving and the classic game of Jenga. Each block contained a math-related question or task that tested the participants’ logic, speed, and accuracy.
