IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PRES. CARLOS P. GARCIA (CPG) SCHOLARSHIP AND BOHOL EDUCATIONAL SUBSIDY PROGRAM (BESP) APPLICANTS
The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Education Development Center, announces the qualifying examination schedule for the 2026 CPG Scholarship and BESP.
EXAMINATION SCHEDULES:
The CPG Scholarship examination is scheduled from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, while the BESP examination will take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Below are the specific dates and venues:

FOR CPG SCHOLARSHIP:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicants must be Senior High School graduates, incoming freshmen who are honor graduates.
2. Must provide a photocopy of their honor certificate to be submitted to the examination team on the day before taking the examination.
3. Belongs to an indigent family.
4. Must enroll in a university or college within the province of Bohol.
INELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. Students who are to enroll in public colleges and universities which are under Free Higher Education are not eligible: Bohol Island State University (BISU), Tagbilaran City College (TCC), Trinidad Municipal College (TMC), Buenavista Community College (BCC), Talibon Polytechnic College (TPC), Colegio de Getafe (CDG), Danao Technological College (DTC), Carmen Municipal College (CMC), and Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences (InbCAS), Colegio de Alicia (CDA), Colegio de Loboc (CDL), Ubay Community College (UCC), Guindulman Municipal College (GMC).
2. Students who are to enroll in private colleges and universities which are under Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) are not eligible: Mater Dei College (MDC), Bohol Northern Star College (BNSC), Bohol Northwestern College (BNWC), Batuan Colleges Inc. (BCI), Cristal e-College (CeC), BIT International College-Jagna/Carmen (BIT-IC), Bohol International Learning College (BILC), and Bohol College of Science and Technology (BCST).
FOR BESP:
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicants must be Senior High School graduates, incoming freshmen, or current college students at any year level (1st to 4th year).
2. Belongs to an indigent family.
3. Must enroll in a university or college within the province of Bohol.
