The Provincial Government of Bohol declared a Dengue outbreak last August 28, 2026. Tagbilaran City was identified as one of the areas with a high number of cases.

We can contribute in the fight against Dengue in the school and at our homes by following the 5S strategy of the Department of Health.
■ Search and destroy: clean up drives, cover water storage containers
■ Self protection measures: wear long sleeved shirts, long pants and socks, use mosquito repellents and/or stickers
■ Seek early consultation: vigilant in recognizing early signs and symptoms
■ Support fogging as a last resort or only in outbreak situations: coordinate with local health office
■ Sustain hydration

If you are experiencing high fever, body weakness, abdominal pain and/or signs of bleeding, please seek consultation for further work-up.

Stay safe and healthy, Holynamians.
