𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The Skilartales Performing Group showcased their talents through a cultural dance and musical performance during the RAISE Forward: Regional Technology Pitching Competition held on October 9, 2025, at the Ceremonial Hall, New Capitol Building, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Under the supervision of the University Culture and Arts Director, Dr. Lemuel P. Abdul, Skilartales Adviser, Dr. Angelica Joan O. Flores, and Ms. Amethyst Jane M. Magdoza, the group represented BISU, adding a vibrant touch of culture and artistry to the regional event organized by the RAISE Program in Central Visayas and partner agencies.

BISU Culture and Arts Office commends the Skilartales Performing Group for their outstanding performance and continued commitment to promoting Boholano culture and BISU excellence.

ADVISORY I Work-from-Home (WFH) Arrangement Due to Recent Earthquake

The Bohol Island State University (BISU) Administration announces that all campuses shall implement a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement and Asynchronous Classes effective immediately until further notice, following the magnitude 7.6 earthquake that struck Mindanao, as reported by PHIVOLCS.

The strong tremor was felt across the Visayas regions, including Bohol, prompting the University to conduct another thorough inspection and safety assessment of all its buildings and facilities to ensure the welfare of students, faculty, and staff.

This Work-from-Home arrangement applies to all personnel, including Contract of Service (COS) employees. Everyone is advised to remain vigilant and stay updated through official advisories from PHIVOLCS, NDRRMC, and local authorities.

Further announcements will be issued once on-site work and classes are deemed safe to resume.

Let us all prioritize safety and exercise caution during this time.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: BISU Culture and Arts Office, with the Sports Office, conducts a coordination meeting in preparation for the upcoming University Paugnat ug Pasundayag Festival

Presided over by Dr. Lemuel Abdul, University Culture and Arts Director, the meeting was attended by all committee members, officials, and coaches of University Paugnat Ug Pasundayag Festival, scheduled on November 11-15, 2025 at the BISU-Balilihan Campus. The session focused on program of activities, finalizing event details, clarifying roles, and enhancing collaboration to guarantee the orderly and a successful ex*****on of activities.
