As part of Hearty Healthy Philippines, JCI Boholana Kisses actively promotes sports and fitness activities that inspire members to live healthier, move more, and connect deeper with one another.

With our visiting chapters, we gather in Bohol not just to engage in physical activities, but to celebrate the spirit of unity—building friendships, strengthening bonds, and sharing a common purpose of service and wellness.

Guided by our commitment to service, JCI Boholana Kisses and JCI Metro Cebu Uptown, extended assistance to the fire-affected families of Sitio Ermita, Cebu City. Through the collective generosity of our members and partners, we were able to provide essential food, water, and clothing, offering relief and support to families as they worked to recover and rebuild their lives.

Through Project Nova by Kayakasia Philippines, retired kayaks are transformed into durable bags giving materials a second life instead of letting them go to waste. And even the smallest pieces of waste like bottle caps are transformed into something meaningful and useful.

We’re collecting materials like:
• Plastic bottle caps
• Ice cream tubs
• Oil, detergent, and motor oil containers

Drop-off stations:
• Kayak Station, Abatan River, Maribojoc
• Balatayo’s Residence, Punta Cruz, Maribojoc
• Donaire’s Residence, Mabuhay Village, Dao, Tagbilaran
• Sundrop Cafe, Dao, Tagbilaran

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, a survival monitoring activity was conducted one week after our mangrove planting initiative, together with Deb Jomarleh Ucang, 2026 National Director for Community Action Programs, and Ma. Christine Torralba, 2026 Local Organization President.

We are pleased to see the mangroves adapting well and showing promising growth. Together, we continue to protect our environment and build a greener future.

In support of the national program Think Green, Go Green, JCI Boholana Kisses carried out an environmental initiative centered on restoration, awareness, and responsibility.

We planted 35 Bongalon mangrove species to help protect coastal areas. Environmental awareness on climate resilience and ecosystem protection was conducted to encourage action. A partnership with Kayakasia Bohol was also strengthened, with a survival monitoring activity scheduled to check growth and impact.

The project included a river clean-up and proper waste segregation, showing that environmental responsibility continues beyond the site and into daily life.

We collected 5.05 kgs of waste, but the real impact went beyond numbers. It became a shared commitment to care for and protect our environment.

Today, JCI Boholana Kisses proudly joined The Sunset Pride Run in partnership with Re/Set Club, Komorebi, and Tropiq.

As we ran into the sunset, we celebrated diversity, inclusion, and the strength of communities that embrace authenticity and belonging. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

Last June 8, 2028, JCI Boholana Kisses successfully conducted its Bags of Hope Project at Riverside Elementary School in Bilar, Bohol, bringing smiles and support to 50 deserving students through the distribution of school bags and essential learning supplies.

This initiative reflects our commitment to empowering young learners and helping them pursue their dreams with confidence. Every bag represents hope, encouragement, and the collective effort of those who believe in investing in the future of our children.
