LOOK | BSCS seniors participated in the Bohol ICT Student Congress 2026 held at Mater Dei College on April 21, 2026. This year’s congress carried the theme, “Cyber Resilience in the Age of Intelligent Automation.” The event was organized by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators – Central Visayas.

The activity gathered computing students from across Bohol for a day of learning, collaboration, and meaningful intellectual engagement. The event was thoughtfully designed to enrich participants with knowledge of emerging technologies, raise awareness of cybersecurity in an AI-driven world, and equip the next generation of professionals with essential competencies for the evolving digital landscape

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Reni Czarina Mancha for earning both the Best Paper and Best Paper Presenter awards for their study titled “Forascan: Forage Plant Identification for Livestock Feed Recommendation using YOLO.” The study was presented in Parallel Session B under the Science and Technology category, under the guidance of her thesis adviser, Dr. Alme M. Aparicio.
