In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by the Office of the President–Malacañang, and in consideration of the potential impacts of Super Typhoon Uwan, classes at all levels in Tagbilaran City College are hereby suspended on November 10–11, 2025 (Monday and Tuesday).

All faculty members, staff, and students are advised to prioritize their safety and to stay updated through official government and college announcements.

The Philippine National Survey on Mental Health of LGBTQ+ Youth suggest that 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐆𝐁𝐓𝐐+ 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (Reyes et al., 2024), while rejection increases the risk of su***de (Reyes et al., 2015).🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Here's a quick guide in showing support LGBTQIA+ people when they come out:
1. 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧, and don't judge.
2. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞. Coming out is hard.
3. 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭. Ask how you can help.
4. 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞. It is not your story to tell.
5. 𝐁𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧. There may not be a perfect ally, but we can surely be and do better!
