The Pixel and Code Society (PCS) proudly supports the Management Information System (MIS) in the conduct of the data capturing process for incoming first-year students.

Through this initiative, we are providing our members an opportunity to apply their technical knowledge and skills in a practical manner while helping to make the enrollment process more efficient and organized.

The Pixel & Code Society proudly congratulates our member, Janrell Quiaroro, for becoming one of the champions of the 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 under the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸.

Together with talented Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students from 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, the team developed a fully functional application that utilizes the Stellar blockchain network to provide remote and underserved communities with access to secure financial transactions—even in environments without active Wi-Fi or mobile data.

A special shout-out to Janrell’s teammates from QCU:

Following their victory, the team showcased their project at the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 and is currently working with the Innovation and Technology Support Office to protect the project’s intellectual property rights through IPOPHL.

The team was also selected as one of the 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 of the 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 and will represent the Philippines internationally alongside teams from Vietnam and Indonesia on July 31, 2026.

Something extraordinary is on the horizon as the City College of Tagaytay proudly celebrates its 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 on July 10, 2026, at the CT Velodrome.

"𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀."

A huge round of applause for 𝗔𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮, also known by his IGN "𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁," from our very own 𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 - 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻! Representing the team "𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀," Axcel showcased elite-level gameplay to secure the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽 spot in the 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 during the 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 2026 - SCS Event (April 16-17).

It’s one thing to write clean code, but it’s another to hold a site under pressure and deliver those crisp headshots! Axcel has proven that the logical thinking and quick reflexes we use in programming are just as effective on the server.

While Axcel is our sole representative from the PCS org in this roster, we also want to give a massive shoutout to his four teammates from "𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀." Their collective chemistry and tactical depth were a joy to watch throughout the competition.

Please join us in celebrating a fantastic achievement by our talented members from the 𝗣𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆!

A massive congratulations goes out to 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗹, 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗩 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, and 𝗝𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀 from the 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Competing as key players for "𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗴," they secured a highly impressive 1st Runner Up finish at the Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) Tournament. This thrilling and competitive event was a major highlight of the 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 2026 - SCS Event, which took place last April 16-17, 2026.

It takes immense dedication, strategic thinking, and flawless communication to rise to the top of such a challenging tournament. Rogel, Jay V, and Jake brought their absolute A-game, proving that the skills they hone in the Cybersecurity Division—quick thinking, adaptability, and teamwork—translate perfectly into the gaming arena. 💻✨

We also send our commendations and respect to the rest of the Teambog roster outside of our org. A team’s success is built on every player's contribution, and together, you all put on an incredible show.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐥 & 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 conducted a seminar about "𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐄𝐂: 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲" and "𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐓: 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬."

It is focused on the fundamentals of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Operational Security (OPSEC). The session introduced participants to responsible online investigation, digital footprint awareness, investigation safety, and ethical intelligence gathering.‎‎

The discussion was started by the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐂𝐒 - 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐢 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞. He introduced the OPSEC principles, risk assessment, anonymity tools, compartmentalization, and safe investigation practices. Followed by 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 - 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐂𝐒. He discussed the basic principles of OSINT, and he also conducted a demonstration using a 𝐓𝐫𝐲𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐌𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 involving a missing person scenario. ‎‎

This hands-on activity showed OSINT techniques in a real-life situation, emphasizing ethical practices, careful analysis, and proper evidence handling. ‎‎The seminar emphasized the importance of OSINT beyond mere data collection, focusing on responsible, secure, and ethical use of information.

Additionally, OPSEC urged participants to safeguard their identity, minimize exposure, and avoid creating digital traces during online investigations.‎‎

Finally, a special appreciation towards 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 for contributing their skills and experience to this insightful presentation!‎

‎The 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 was also designated to handle the development of the program cover and back page, with mock layouts prepared as part of the initial design process.
‎
‎Moreover, the division underscored the importance of completing and consolidating essential documents to ensure readiness for the upcoming ceremony.
