The ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐š๐ ๐š๐ฒ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž successfully brought together representatives from various schools, alongside student participants, in a meaningful gathering that celebrated research, collaboration, and academic excellence.

The program formally opened with an inspiring message from the Vice President for Academic Affairs, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ˆ๐ฏ๐ฒ ๐…๐ž ๐Œ. ๐‡๐จ๐ง๐ , who emphasized her vision of developing CCTians into research thinkers equipped with critical and analytical skills.

This was followed by the Special Address of the RDE Director, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐“๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐จ ๐. ๐•๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐จ๐ง, who described the conference as a โ€œbaby stepโ€โ€”a humble yet significant beginning, expressing his optimism for a bigger and more impactful research culture in the years to come.

The highlight of the event was the plenary session delivered by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐ž๐š๐ง๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐š ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐š ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ, ๐‘๐, from the Office of the Vice President for Academics and Services of Olivarez College Tagaytay. In her talk, โ€œUsing Research to Strengthen Institutional Performance and Governance,โ€ she shared valuable insights on how research can be utilized as a tool for institutional growth and effective governance. She also provided practical tips and meaningful suggestions to educators and researchers, encouraging them to engage in purposeful research, align studies with institutional goals, and continuously use findings to improve academic programs and services.

This first part of the conference reflects the institutionโ€™s commitment to fostering a strong research culture and empowering both faculty and students in the pursuit of knowledge.

The Eurekans gathered for the 2nd General Assembly on April 23, 2026, at the RDE Hub, Admin Building.

The assembly began with a discussion led by Vice President for Research, Ms. Sophia Jade Godalle, who reviewed the fundamental parts of research to strengthen membersโ€™ academic understanding.

This was followed by President Ms. Aeriele Nicole Ribon, who discussed the purpose and identity of EUREKA, encouraging members to uphold its values of hope, courage, and knowledge through leadership and initiative.

Vice President for Extension Services, Mr. Darren Caillan, then highlighted the role of extension services and upcoming responsibilities for institutional activities.

The assembly concluded with a short review, group organization, and important reminders for upcoming events, reinforcing collaboration and commitment among members.
