After four meaningful days of learning, sharing, reflection, and empowerment, the EAP 100 Training officially comes to a close.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants from the 23 Dioceses, together with the POs, FOs and Tutors, for your active participation, openness, and commitment throughout the entire training. Despite being conducted online, the sessions became a meaningful space for collaboration, growth, and mission-driven learning for everyone involved.
From discussions on Catholic Social Teaching, safeguarding, psychosocial support, digital communication, beneficiary assessment, mental health, and spiritual reflection, participants were equipped with valuable knowledge and practical tools that will help strengthen service and accompaniment within communities.
Thank you once again to all speakers, organizers, facilitators, diocesan partners, POs, FOs, tutors, and participants for making the EAP 100 Learning Experience a fruitful and inspiring gathering. May we continue serving communities with compassion, dignity, excellence, and hope.

The fourth and final day of the EAP 100 Training focused on mental health and psychosocial well-being through practical and community-based approaches to care and accompaniment.
The last session was facilitated by Ms. Lilet Tupas, who introduced participants to simple and community-based approaches in understanding and supporting mental health and well-being. The discussion highlighted the use of practical psychosocial tools such as play, conversation, and observation as ways to provide support and care. The session emphasized the importance of calmness.
We thanked Fr. Tito Caluag for the Closing Remarks, who shared words of gratitude, encouragement, and inspiration to all participants, speakers, and organizers who became part of the EAP 100 Learning Experience. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Bishop Gerry for delivering the Opening Remarks and for his support and guidance throughout the activity.
As the four-day learning journey comes to an end, participants leave with renewed knowledge, strengthened commitment, and a deeper sense of mission in serving communities with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Thank you to all the participants and speakers.

The third day of the EAP 100 Training became a meaningful space for reflection, renewal, and deeper understanding of service rooted in compassion and mission.
The day began with a spiritually enriching session led by Bro. Raymund Belleza, SJ of UGAT Foundation, Inc., titled โServing the Lord Without Counting the Cost.โ Through prayer, reflection, and spiritual conversation, participants were invited to reconnect with the meaning of service and accompaniment amidst personal struggles, fatigue, and the demands of community work. Rooted in Catholic spirituality, the session nurtured the psychospiritual well-being of EAP staff, tutors, and volunteers by creating a safe space for reflection, listening, and renewal.
This was followed by a session facilitated by Ms. Analyn Julian, RSW of Caritas Philippines, focusing on the Basic Assessment for EAP Beneficiaries. Aligned with the principles and foundation of the program, the discussion highlighted the importance of conducting proper assessments to ensure that assistance reaches individuals and families who genuinely need support. The session emphasized understanding the beneficiariesโ social, economic, psychosocial and personal circumstances, as well as identifying their immediate needs and capacity for engagement within the program.
Day 3 reminded participants that effective service is not only grounded in skills and systems, but also in compassion, discernment, and a heart committed to serving others with dignity and care. See you tomorrow for our last session.

The first day of the EAP 100 Training began with the Foundations of Educational Assistance Program.
Participants were introduced to BOSSAW (Basic Orientation for Social Action Work) led by Ms. Sweet-Cruz Racho. The session provided an introduction to Social Action Work in the Church, including a dedicated discussion on Catholic Social Teaching as its foundation. Serving both as a refresher for experienced staff and an orientation for new members, the session grounded EAP personnel as mission-driven implementers rooted in faith, service, and human dignity.
This was followed by the Safeguarding session facilitated by Ms. Jeanie Curiano, which introduced practical safeguarding principles for community-based work. The discussion focused on recognizing risks, preventing harm, and responding appropriately to concerns involving children and vulnerable persons, aligned with Caritas values and standards of dignity, care, and protection.
A meaningful start to the learning journey as participants continue to deepen their commitment in serving communities with compassion, integrity, and excellence.
See you tomorrow!

๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐!
This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the victory of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness. The resurrection of Christ renews our faith and calls us to be bearers of hope in our communities.
May we continue to rise with purpose, serving others, uplifting the vulnerable, and living out the joy of the Resurrection in our everyday actions.
Let this be a reminder that no darkness is too great when we walk in the light of Christ.

Today, we reflect on the stillness experienced by the disciples, a time filled with uncertainty yet anchored in faith. We are reminded that even in moments of darkness and silence, God is present and at work.
May this day teach us patience, trust, and the strength to hold on to hope, even when answers seem distant.
