Ever heard the name Clark Kent?
I have never heard such a name before, so I went straight to Google and asked the almost similar question. I found out that Clark Kent is the known superhero, Superman. Now, I didn't realize the concept of this reminder that happens to talk about. I was looking at my wall for two minutes straight thinking about it.

When I realized what it meant, something in me just clicked. Clark Kent is the superman but without his powers. He acts normal, people thinks he's normal, he's just a human. He is a human.

Now, what does that mean? This reminder wishes to let you know that you don't have to be like Superman who saves living organisms, because you can't. You don't have to be Superman who has to face different level of responsibilities, to save others but not himself. Being normal is enough. Being a Clark Kent doesn't mean you're weak, it means that you have a lot of strength within you. You are enough, you are a normal human being.

You don't need to have special abilities to do something extraordinary. You just need strength and courage. That is power. You are normal, but you're no ordinary.

We interviewed some students from Olivarez College Tagaytay about how we can maintain the reflection of positive thoughts on social media and how we can make social media a healthy environment.

It's a good day to spread positivity! We, the CMYA team, interviewed some students and asked them about their opinions regarding the said questions. This shows how youth think differently and how they view different aspects. Very well said!! 🥰

"Did I do something wrong?"

That question often comes to a lot of people's minds. Being a victim of cyberbullying affects one's mental health. We start to doubt and overthink about ourselves. Sometimes, instead of blaming the bully, we tend to blame ourselves; this is where we start to have self-destructive behavior. Being targeted and receiving criticism, judgment, and unnecessary comments for being who we are ruins our self-esteem. The fear of being judged holds us back from asking for help from the people who might help us. As our population grows, the number of victims of cyberbullying grows, too. The lack of awareness and empathy makes us blind, which results in us hurting someone.

However, whatever the reason, we have no right to hurt or bully others. No matter how close we are to them or how long we've known them, there's no reason enough to bully someone.

Lastly, for the victims,

Remember, the words and actions of others don't define your worth or who you are. You're stronger than you know, and there's a whole world of positivity waiting for you beyond the negativity. Surround yourself with supportive people and focus on your well-being. You deserve kindness and respect. If people can't accept your imperfection, it's okay. If they don't like you, it's okay.

It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not. Be yourself; be true.

As we embark on a new day, let's take a moment to reflect on the power of a changed mindset. Our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality, and by cultivating a positive and growth-oriented mindset, we can unlock our full potential. Remember, a changed mindset is a journey, not a destination. By consistently practicing these daily reminders, you'll be well on your way to cultivating a positive and growth-oriented mindset. Best wishes for a successful day!
