Registration opens for 2026 Summer Sports Camp in Tacurong City

April 23, 2026 — Registration for the 2026 Summer Sports Camp officially opened today at Magsaysay Park, beside Tennis Court in Tacurong City, drawing eager participants as early as morning.

Organized by the City Government through the City Youth Development Office, the free program is open to individuals aged 17 and below. Long lines formed as applicants submitted requirements and completed on-site registration.

The camp features various sports such as basketball, volleyball, swimming, athletics, football, and taekwondo and more. Staff are assisting with document verification, including IDs, PSA copies, and parental consent.

Registration runs until 6:00 PM today.

Following the updated advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and the assessment of local disaster risk management authorities indicating improved weather and flood conditions, classes at all levels — both public and private — in the Province of Sultan Kudarat shall RESUME on February 23, 2026.

All schools and Local Government Units are advised to continue observing standard safety protocols and remain vigilant for any further advisories.

The Provincial Government remains committed to ensuring both the safety of our constituents and the continuity of education.

Please stay guided accordingly.

PUBLIC ADVISORY‼️

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 96, the Province of Sultan Kudarat officially lifts the temporary suspension earlier imposed under EO No. 95. This means that classes will now resume at all levels and government offices will return to regular on-site operations across the province.

The decision was made after updated monitoring and structural inspections showed that the risk from recent earthquakes has already lessened.

As we go back to normal activities, the public is reminded to stay cautious, be prepared, and follow safety measures at all times.
