Apolinario S. Bernardo National High School successfully conducted School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session 1 on August 20, 2026 (Thursday) at the ICT Laboratory, with the theme:

The session began with the Opening Preliminaries led by Sir Harold L. Reyes, TVI, followed by the Introduction of the Guest Resource Speaker by Sir Bonie Cerdana, TIII.

The highlight of the session was the Keynote Lecture on Action Research delivered by Jose T. Decena III, DBA, Guest Resource Speaker, which provided meaningful insights on how classroom-based inquiry can lead to innovative practices and improved learning outcomes.

The lecture was followed by an Open Forum and Interactive Discussion, Sharing of Insights, and a Workshop and Initial Brainstorming on Classroom Problem Areas and Potential Action Research Topics. The session concluded with the Awarding of Certificates and Closing Preliminaries.

The successful conduct of the SLAC session was made possible through the leadership and support of Maโ€™am Ma. Teresa H. Ruz, School Principal II, together with Janine C. Antatico, T-VI, Research Coordinator/Session Facilitator, and Vicente P. Palermo, Master Teacher I, SLAC Coordinator, alongside the dedicated faculty and staff of ASBNHS.
