The Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) Graduate School continues to strengthen the quality and relevance of its graduate programs through the revision of its graduate curricula and the Graduate School Manual.

On July 21, 2026, representatives from the SKSU Graduate School conducted a consultation meeting with the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XII (CHEDRO XII) to present the proposed revisions. The consultation was held with Dr. Annabelle R. Dafielmoto, Assistant Chief Education Program Specialist, and aimed to secure CHEDRO's guidance and endorsement while ensuring that the revised curricula and manual are aligned with existing higher education policies, standards, and quality assurance requirements.

Following the consultation, the Graduate School formally submitted the hard copies of the revised graduate curricula and Graduate School Manual to CHEDRO XII on July 23, 2026, for review and endorsement. The documents were received by Dr. Zohrahaydah Naga-Panawidan, Chief Education Program Specialist.

The proposed revisions are currently awaiting approval by the SKSU Board of Regents. Once approved, these enhancements will further strengthen the University's graduate education programs by ensuring that they remain responsive to emerging educational trends, industry demands, and the evolving needs of graduate learners.

This initiative underscores SKSU's steadfast commitment to academic excellence, continuous quality improvement, and the delivery of innovative, relevant, and globally competitive graduate education. It likewise advances the University's commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive, equitable, and high-quality graduate education; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by preparing highly competent professionals to meet workforce and industry needs; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through sustained collaboration with CHED in strengthening higher education governance and quality assurance.

Through these efforts, SKSU Graduate School reaffirms its dedication to fostering academic excellence and producing graduates equipped to contribute meaningfully to national development and the global knowledge community.
