The learners of the SNED Center, Tacurong Pilot Elementary School joyfully participated in TARIPATO, the kick-off project of the Rotary Club of Tacurong with the theme, “Pusong Yumayakap, Kamay na Gumagabay.” The event brought smiles and excitement as our learners had the wonderful opportunity to meet Jollibee, enjoy their favorite Jollibee meals, and experience a day filled with fun, love, and inclusion.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club of Tacurong for making this day truly special. Beyond the joyful celebration, we are especially grateful for the gift of a wheelchair given to one of our learners—a thoughtful gesture that will greatly support their mobility and daily school experience. Your generosity and compassion embody the true spirit of service, reminding us that even the simplest acts of kindness can create a lasting impact in the lives of our children. Thank you for embracing our learners with open hearts and guiding hands.

The learners of the SNED Center, Tacurong Pilot Elementary School were delighted to celebrate a post-birthday outreach with Sir Angelo Villaruel of Tacurong FitMart. In the spirit of giving, Sir Angelo shared his blessings by spending time with our learners and treating them to delicious food and snacks from MAD Kitchen.

A Day of Joy, Love, and Inclusion!

Our hearts are full of gratitude as we celebrate the success of the Outreach Program for the Learners with Special Needs of Tacurong Pilot Elementary School. We extend our sincerest appreciation to HIDLAWANAY Batch ’86 of Notre Dame of Tacurong High School Boys and Girls Department for their generosity, kindness, and for spending meaningful time with our learners.

Your presence brought smiles that words cannot fully describe. Beyond the treats and gifts, you gave our learners something even more valuable—your time, attention, and genuine care.

Thank you for sharing your blessings with more than 200 learners through:

Our SNED Center was filled with vibrant colors and inspiring stories today as we successfully held our Art Showcase, featuring the incredible masterpieces of our learners with autism. These artworks aren't just paintings or drawings; they are windows into the unique and beautiful ways our students see the world. 🧩✨

We were honored to have Sir Kelvin Callejo as our guest speaker. His powerful message on Inclusive Education resonated deeply with everyone. It was heartening to see our parents so engaged, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their commitment to fostering an environment where every learner belongs.

Yesterday, February 12, our talented learners from the TPES SNED Center took center stage to kick off our National Autism Consciousness Week activities! 🧩

From strokes of a brush to incredible creative expressions, these kids showed us that autism is not a disability, but a different ability. Their art reminds us that every child sees the world in a unique and beautiful way.

Due to uncontrollable circumstances—specifically the recurring earthquakes and for strict compliance with safety protocols—the Tacurong Pilot Elementary School SPED Program is postponing our upcoming events originally set for January 31, 2026.
