Haze is more than just fog—it’s a mix of smoke, dust, and pollutants that can harm our health and reduce visibility. It often comes from forest fires and travels through the monsoon winds, affecting air quality across regions.

Protect yourself by staying indoors, wearing a mask when outside, and drinking plenty of water.

Stay informed and help keep our community safe—because 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀, 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀!

The Tacurong City Police Station conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium at Rockfort Educational Institute, Inc. (REII) as part of its continuing efforts to promote awareness and strengthen the youth’s understanding of the dangers and consequences of illegal drug use.

The lecture was facilitated by PCMS Cashmer Gabaon, CCAD PNCO, of the Tacurong City Police Station. The session focused on providing participants with important information about illegal drugs, their harmful effects, and the importance of making responsible and informed choices.

Through the initiative, the Philippine National Police emphasized the significant role of education and prevention in protecting young people from substance abuse. The symposium also served as an avenue for learners to gain a deeper understanding of the consequences of drug involvement and the importance of seeking proper guidance and support.

REII recognizes the value of partnerships with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders in creating a safe, informed, and drug-free learning environment. Programs such as this reinforce the school’s commitment to the holistic development and well-being of its learners.

The Drug Awareness Symposium highlights a shared responsibility between the school, the community, law enforcement, and families in empowering the youth to make positive choices and contribute to a safer and healthier community.
