The Parents-Teachers Association Assembly was conducted last September 30, 2023 at Tacurong Pilot Elementary School served as a pivotal gathering to address various crucial aspects of the school's functioning. Attendees engaged in discussions encompassing school policies, PTA concerns, and association matters, fostering a spirit of collaboration between parents and educators.
The assembly commenced with a comprehensive review of the school's policies by the school guidance coordinator, Lodjean Pama, T-II, which covered areas such as attendance, student conduct and uniform regulations. Parents gained a thorough understanding of their children's responsibilities and the school's expectations.
Sir Neil Casador, the cluster ALS Coordinator presented the ALS Advocacy wherein he emphasized that this program aims at providing accessible education to out-of-school youth and adults who have not completed their formal schooling.
Utilization of school MOOE was also discuss by Cleo Irene Ines, ADAS-II followed by the PTA matters segment featured updates from the PTA president, Roy Macabodbod, highlighting recent activities.
Additionally, State of the School Address was delivered by the school Principal and Cluster Head, Ma'am Rona L. Bred, P-II. Ma'am Rona reviewed the achievements of the school, emphasizing academic excellence, cultural and artistic accomplishments, sports achievements, and community service efforts as well as the school key performance indicators and its relevance.
Following these presentations, an open forum provided a platform for parents and attendees to ask questions, seek clarifications, and share their concerns. Topics ranged from parent involvement and student well-being to facility-related inquiries. The open forum served as a vital space for dialogue and collaboration between parents and the school, enhancing the overall educational experience for the students of Tacurong Pilot Elementary School.
