The ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ. ๐๐น๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น continued its In-Service Training (INSET) on๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, focusing on strengthening teachersโ instructional competencies, addressing learning gaps, and translating professional learning into meaningful workplace practices.
The second day of the training featured three sessions designed to provide teachers with practical strategies that can be applied directly in their classrooms and professional responsibilities.
๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฃ. ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐, ๐ ๐๐๐ฑ, ๐ง-๐ฉ๐, led the session on โStrategies to Address Gaps in Phil-IRI and CRLA.โ She discussed approaches for identifying and responding to learnersโ reading difficulties using assessment results. The session emphasized the importance of targeted interventions and appropriate instructional strategies to help learners improve their literacy skills.
Meanwhile, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ด๐ผ๐ต๐ผ๐ป, ๐ ๐๐๐ฑ, ๐ง- ๐๐๐, facilitated the session โTeaching Delivery Using Springboards.โ Participants explored how springboards can be effectively used to introduce lessons, activate prior knowledge, stimulate learnersโ interest, and encourage active participation in classroom activities.
The training also included a Workshop on Workplace Application Planning (WAP) facilitated by ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐น๐๐ป ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ, ๐ฃ๐ต๐, ๐ฃ-๐๐๐. The workshop guided teachers in developing concrete plans for applying the knowledge and skills gained from the INSET to their respective work settings. It highlighted the importance of transforming professional development experiences into actionable strategies that contribute to improved teaching practices and school outcomes.
