𝐏𝐍𝐏 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐒 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬

𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 - The Philippine National Police (PNP) Tacurong City conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium for the Grade VI learners of Josue S. Alcasid Central School on August 14, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen awareness and promote a drug-free community among the youth.

The symposium was led by PMSg Sharlemagne P. Palmares and PCMS Cashmer G. Gabaon, who served as resource speakers during the activity. They discussed important information on the dangers and harmful effects of illegal drugs, emphasizing the importance of making responsible decisions and avoiding activities that may put learners’ health, safety, and future at risk.

The learners actively participated in the session, listening to the speakers and engaging in the discussion. The activity provided them with an opportunity to better understand the consequences of drug abuse and the role they can play in maintaining a safe and healthy community.

The Drug Awareness Lecture also highlighted the importance of collaboration between schools and law enforcement agencies in protecting children and equipping them with accurate information about illegal drugs.

JACS expressed its appreciation to PNP Tacurong City, particularly PMSg Palmares and PCMS Gabaon, for sharing their knowledge and expertise with the learners.

Through initiatives such as this, JACS continues to support efforts toward a drug-free school and community, empowering learners to make informed choices and become responsible members of society.

At JACS Library, 20 Day Care Learners of Brgy. Baras, with their parents and Teacher Gingging, enjoyed a story from LRMS featuring the winning work of SDO Tacurong authors and illustrators, with PTA President Mrs. Dialyn Casa as Guest Reader.

Kasunod ng isinagawang Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) ng mga kinauukulang ahensya matapos ang naranasang lindol, at batay sa resulta ng mga isinagawang inspeksyon, walang naitalang major infrastructure damage sa Lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat.

Napatunayan din sa isinagawang assessment na ligtas at passable ang mga pangunahing kalsada, at walang umiiral na sitwasyon na maglalagay sa panganib sa pagbabalik ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang mga paaralan.

Bagama't naitala ang Intensity III sa bahagi ng Palimbang, nananatiling ligtas ang pangkalahatang kalagayan ng lalawigan.

Dahil dito, ini-lift na ang suspension of classes, at ipagpapatuloy ang regular na face-to-face classes bukas, August 6, 2026, sa lahat ng public at private schools sa Sultan Kudarat.

Dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan, mga naitalang landslides, at pagbaha sa ilang bahagi ng Sultan Kudarat, mananatiling suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa lahat ng antas, parehong public at private schools, bukas, July 24, 2026.

Alinsunod sa Executive Order No. 153, Series of 2026, ang class suspension ay nananatiling epektibo at mananatili hanggang ito ay opisyal na ma-lift o mabago sa pamamagitan ng panibagong Executive Order.

Patuloy ang ating monitoring, damage assessment, at koordinasyon sa mga concerned agencies upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel.

Habang may banta ng panganib, mananatili rin ang ating pag-iingat. Ang kaligtasan ng bawat Sultan Kudarateño ang ating pangunahing prayoridad.

To protect our learners, teachers, at school communities, we have officially issued Executive Order No. 153, Series of 2026, suspending classes in all levels, both public and private schools, today, July 23, 2026.

The decision follows the latest PAGASA advisory on the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Depression "KIYAPO," bringing persistent rains and increasing the threat of flooding in parts of the province.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and work hand in hand with our local government units and response agencies to ensure the safety of every community.

Classes can always continue another day. Safety cannot wait.

The Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat reminds everyone that the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels remains in effect tomorrow, pursuant to the existing Executive Order No. 142, Series of 2026, which shall remain in force unless sooner revoked or modified.

Patuloy pa rin ang Heavy Rain Advisory sa lalawigan, at marami pa ring low-lying at flood-prone areas ang nananatiling apektado ng pagbaha dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan.

Kasabay nito, maraming paaralan ang kasalukuyang ginagamit bilang temporary evacuation centers para sa ating mga kababayang inilikas mula sa mga high-risk areas. Patuloy rin ang damage assessment, road clearing, at rehabilitation works ng iba't ibang ahensya upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng publiko.

Dahil dito, nananatiling prayoridad ng Provincial Government ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at school personnel.

Patuloy pong mag-monitor sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat para sa mga susunod na updates.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 142, Series of 2026, the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private) throughout the Province of Sultan Kudarat remains in effect tomorrow.

As provided under Section 4 of the Executive Order, it “shall remain in force unless sooner revoked or modified." In view of the continuous heavy rainfall and prevailing adverse weather conditions, the suspension remains effective until further notice.

Schools may continue to implement appropriate online or modular learning modalities, whenever practicable and subject to the discretion of their respective school administrators.

The public is advised to continue monitoring official announcements from the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat for any updates or modifications.
