CONGRATULATIONS to our Former SEEDS Organization President, Mr. Jodel Olaya 🎓🎓🎓

We are so Proud of You! Mabuhay! 👏🏼

Delivering his speech, College of Education student Jodel Olaya, the university’s first summa cm laude, encouraged fellow university graduates to undertake and not shy away from individual journeys.

“To my fellow graduates, let us not stop chasing our dreams. We are about to enter a new chapter and I want you to realize that no matter what happens, no matter what path you take, do not be afraid to be different because we have different stories to tell. I encourage you to stand out in your own way,” he exclaims.

Olaya delivered his speech during the university’s Baccalaureate Mass and Recognition Program for the ’22 graduating batch on July 14, at the Tacloban City Convention Center.

Furthermore, he reminds his fellow graduates that while obstacles may come in the way of their journey, it is also an opportunity.

“My fellow batchmates, there will be more and bigger and higher mountains that will ultimately test our strength and courage as we face the real world out there. But always remember that, ‘every mountain we climb is an opportunity to touch the sky’”, Olaya’s reminder goes.
