𝐏𝐑𝐂 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐰𝐒𝐒𝐔 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞

The Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) has been granted the authority by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) to offer a Criminology Refresher Course, set to commence next semester of AY: 2024-2025. This program is in compliance with RA 11131, also known as "The Philippine Criminology Profession Act of 2018," and is designed for individuals who have failed the Licensure Examination for Criminologists (LEC) five times, whether consecutively or cumulatively. It also serves as an intensified review for BS Criminology graduates under CMO 21 series of 2005, focusing on modern trends in criminology, forensic science, law enforcement, and criminal investigation to improve their performance in future licensure exams.
