After the Disaster Preparedness lecture, the excitement shifted outdoors as the Girl Scouts headed to the STEFTI Campus 2 Grounds for a thrilling hands-on activity. A total of seven stations were set up across the area, each designed to challenge the girls with rigorous and engaging tasks. These activities allowed them to apply what they had learned in an outdoor environment setting, testing their teamwork. The Philippine Navy conducted a lecture on disaster preparedness, teaching young girls what to do in case a disaster strikes. The session officially began with the introduction of PO2 Ray Glenn R. Veruen PN (Res), PO2 Kristel Nicole R. De la Rosa PN (Res), PO2 Sonia Joyce Erika M. Batan PN (Res), and PO2 Joelle Dyan H. Soriano, who generously gave their time for this lecture.

The lecture started with Sir Veruen, who asked the participants about their knowledge of disasters, including what causes them, when they occur, and how to prepare for them. This helped start an engaging and interactive discussion with the girls. He then explained the different types of disasters and shared practical ways to prepare for them, as well as what to do in each situation.

The talk included activities where the girls were able to practice starting a fire using fire starters and cotton, as well as basic sheltering.

This activity aimed to help the participants become more aware, prepared, and confident in responding to emergencies.
