LNU-CCELL Art Workshop: Nurturing Young Talents Through Creativity on Canvas

The Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (CCELL) successfully organized the "Creativity on Canvas: Painting LNU-ILS Learners’ Passion for Visual Arts" workshop, a two-day event aimed at fostering artistic growth among young students. Held on February 8 and 15, the workshop provided an inspiring space for the fifty-three (53) ILS pupils who participated to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and showcase their artistic talents. It was facilitated by talented artists from the Tanauan Artists Guild (TAN-AG).

The event began with a seminar on art education, where students learned about the elements of art, different shapes, and shading techniques. This session, led by talented artists from the Tanuan Artists Guild (TAN-AG), laid a strong foundation for the hands-on training that followed. The participants eagerly engaged in practical exercises, applying their newfound knowledge to create unique and expressive artworks.

On the second day, the students were given ample time to work on their individual creations, allowing their imaginations to run free. The workshop reached its most interactive phase as participants passionately expressed themselves through painting. As they worked, they exchanged ideas and techniques, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

To celebrate their efforts, an art exhibit was held on the second day, where the students proudly displayed their artworks. Their outputs reflected both their creativity and the skills they had developed throughout the workshop. The event concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, recognizing both the students and their mentors for their dedication and hard work.
