MAASIN CITY— The Spartans Taekwondo Team delivered an impressive performance at the Regional Taekwondo Championships held on July 18, 2026 at the Maasin City Gymnasium, earning multiple medals and showcasing discipline and excellence.

Spartans Taekwondo Team successfully conducted the 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐞𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 held at Primark Center Caibaan last July 11, 2026, featuring our guest speaker, Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian Sir 𝐁𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐨

The seminar highlighted essential knowledge for every taekwondo athlete—𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝓃, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩-𝘪𝘯𝘴. What made this seminar truly impactful was the detailed and well-explained discussion of Sir Byron, ensuring that every player, parent, and coach clearly understood how nutrition plays a vital role in success inside the court.

This learning experience also emphasized the shared responsibility of the team—athletes applying discipline, coaches guiding properly, and parents providing the right support at home.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sir Byron Jeff Toledo for sharing his expertise and passion. This knowledge will surely serve as a strong foundation and guide for our athletes in their future competitions and endeavors.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: A remarkable performance by 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎 at the National Poomsae Championships last July 5, 2026 at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Malate, Manila.

Competing in the highly competitive 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐀, Jacob secured Rank 2 in the elimination round out of 28 competitors, proving his elite level early in the competition. The Top 4 athletes from both Group A and Group B were then combined for the final round, where the best of the best faced off.

After the final round, Jacob proudly finished 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝟔 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟓𝟔 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞—a true testament to his skill, composure, and determination on the national stage.
