EVSU - Nutrition and Dietetics Department (NDD) proudly congratulates our successful passers in the first Nutritionist-Dietitians 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 Licensure Examination held from November 6-7, 2025.

The department has produced 20 passers out of 25 examinees with an over-all performance of 80.00%, the highest recorded institutional passing percentage with an impressive 85.71% or 18 first-time takers and 50.00% or 2 repeaters.

Your achievement is a testament to excellence, resilience, and commitment to serve. We are proud of you, 𝐊𝐚-𝐍𝐃! 💚

💌 Dear ND students, here’s a letter from the Department Head:

Big week ahead! 🌟

Sending all the good vibes to our ND examinees who will be taking the Nutritionist-Dietitians Licensure Examination (NDLE) on November 6-7, 2025 — you’ve got this! We are with you in prayers 🙏🏻💪📚

To promote gender-responsive approaches to nutrition and care within households as well as putting emphasis on the role of nutrition in the early days of life, Assistant Professor Segundina Devota A. Dilao delivered a back-to-back talk to the parents from Sta. Elena Elementary School and Lucio Vivero Central School as the partner schools in the ongoing extension project with the Department of Education dubbed Project LUNTIAN.

Moreover, the City Agricultural Technologist, Ms. Rhodora Tingzon trained the participants on vegetable gardening in order to promote healthy eating practices and sustainable food sources within the community.

Said nutrition lectures and vegetable gardening training transpired last September 29, 2025 at both partner schools facilitated by the NDD faculty and thru the efforts of the Tacloban City Agricultural Office and the Department of Agriculture - Field Office 8.
