📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

The Tacloban City Public Employment Service Office (TCPESO) hereby informs the public that the ONLINE REGISTRATION for the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) will open on March 6, 2026 (Friday). The official registration link will be posted exactly at 9:00 AM on the same date through our official page.

📌 QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPES APPLICANTS:
-ENROLLED STUDENTS - 15 years old but not more than 30 years old
-Must be a resident of Tacloban City (1 applicant per household)
-Must be currently enrolled as a High School, Senior High School, or College student (1st to 3rd year for Technical/Vocational courses).
-Must have no failing grades in the most recent grading period or semester.
-The combined net income of both parents must not exceed the poverty threshold of ₱191,088.00 per year.
-Must possess at least basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
-Must not be a beneficiary of 4Ps/UCT/MCCT.
-Must not be a student scholar
-Must not be a Barangay SK Official

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
The office will evaluate and shortlist Two Hundred (200) applicants ONLY who will proceed to screening and interview on a later scheduled date.

The Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) aims to assist poor but deserving students in pursuing their education by providing temporary employment and earning opportunities.
