“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙮, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪.“

The second day of our novena reminds us that a life of mission does not always require grand gestures, distant journeys, or extraordinary achievements. Sometimes, mission begins exactly where we are—with a little patience, a simple act of kindness, and a heart willing to love.

Through the life of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the Little Flower, we are reminded that greatness does not always come through grand actions. Though she lived much of her religious life within the walls of a Carmelite monastery, she discovered that even the smallest things could become meaningful when done with extraordinary love.

She did not have great resources, influence, or opportunities to travel the world. Yet she had love—and she offered that love generously wherever God placed her. Her “Little Way” teaches us that a little patience, a little kindness, a little sacrifice, and a little love can become our own way of living out our mission.

As young people, we may sometimes feel that there is so much wrong in the world and so little that we can do. But we are reminded not to give up. God loved us first, and His love gives us the strength to face difficulties, grow through challenges, and become better prepared for the future.

Our vocation may take many forms someday, but there is one vocation we will always share: the vocation to love. We can begin by loving God, loving ourselves as His beloved children, and extending that love to our families, classmates, friends, and the people around us.

Let us remember that we do not need to do something extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes, the smallest act done with great love can become our greatest mission.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 from FUN RUN 2026!

What a way to kick off the celebration of 25 years of STEFTI! 🎉

Early call time? We showed up.
Run before sunrise? Somehow survived.
Water stations? Ready.
Food stations? Of course.
School spirit? EVERYWHERE.

But the best part was seeing the whole STEFTI community out there together: students, parents, teachers, alumni, families, and friends filling the streets with so much energy.

We knew it would be fun… but THAT fun? That many people? That much energy before most people have had breakfast?! 😂

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, volunteered, handed out water and food, and helped make the morning one to remember.

25 years of STEFTI, and we’re only getting started. 💙

Those who act on the word of God and live out the teachings of Jesus not only become His disciples but also His brothers and sisters and children of the same Father. It is not enough to know His teachings or be familiar with the Scriptures. As His loving children, we are called to act on His word, to be obedient, and to follow in His footsteps. For devotion to the Lord, rooted in love and obedience, is expressed not only in what we offer Him but also in how faithfully we live according to His will.

Let us take St. Therese as our model for this devotion. With faithfulness and commitment to religious life, she pursued holiness through her “Little Way.” This “Little Way” was lived through obeying the convent’s rules and carrying out every task with love, humility, and trust in God, keeping Him always in her heart and mind. In these small duties and tasks, she saw the will of God. St. Therese truly embodies the obedience that comes from living out God’s word.

Let us, as Theresians, follow St. Therese and embody her loving obedience to the Lord, listening to His word and putting it into action.

TCPO Strengthens Coordination with STEFTI Director

LOOK | PCOL MARBEN M ORDONIA, Acting City Director, together with PLTCOL EDWIN S CAÑAMAQUE, Chief, CIDMU, and PMAJ SHENNA S LAYOG, Station Commander, PS2, held a coordination meeting with Ms. Mary Bernadette C Palami, STEFTI School Director, on September 21, 2026.

The meeting centered on strengthening security collaboration, establishing clear communication channels, and enhancing safety protocols within the school premises and surrounding community.

TCPO reaffirms its commitment to building strong partnerships with educational institutions in support of community safety and student’s welfare.

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗧. Tomorrow, we run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The kits are ready. The routes are set. And after all the planning, training, and anticipation, we’re finally meeting at the starting line. Get some rest tonight because you do not want to miss a single moment of this. ❤️

Final reminders:

☑Arrive on time. Check your category’s warm-up and gun-start schedule.
☑ Review your race route and station numbers.
☑ Secure your race bib to the front of your singlet tonight.
☑ Bring the collapsible cup included in your race kit. Water and aid stations will **not** provide plastic or paper cups.
☑ 12KM and 25KM runners must bring their own blinkers.
💧 Hydrate well tonight.
☑ Eat a carbohydrate-rich dinner.
☑ Get enough sleep and rest.

Tomorrow, we fill the streets with energy, school spirit, and thousands of footsteps celebrating 25 years of STEFTI.

𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗙𝗧𝗜 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗦𝗣𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

A total of 18 STEFTI campus journalists earned top spots in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), gaining them slots in the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2026. With 9 student-writers from the secondary department and 9 from the elementary department, these Theresians demonstrated a strong feat as they competed with over 1,500 student journalists from 10 District Learning Centers (DLCs) in the Tacloban City Division.

The top three placers in the individual categories and first placers in the group categories will represent Tacloban City at the regional tilt. The elementary delegation finished second overall, while its secondary counterpart placed fourth in this conference.

As our young journalists move on to the regional stage, their achievement adds another chapter to STEFTI’s 25th anniversary celebration --- igniting hearts, shaping futures, and giving young voices a wider platform to be heard.

STEFTI conquered the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶-𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱, earning the Science championship and four top-four finishes against 16 other schools from across the region!
