PUBLIC INVITATION | PROJECT SONATA ONLINE STAKEHOLDERS’ CONSULTATION

Leyte Normal University (LNU), through Project SONATA (Sound and Acoustics Creative Technology Analysis Center), warmly invites educators, researchers, cultural workers, musicians, government agencies, community leaders, and other stakeholders to participate in the Online Stakeholders’ Consultation on June 19, 2026 (Friday), from 8:30 AM to 12:00 NN via Zoom.

Project SONATA is an Institutional Development Program (IDP) supported by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD). Officially launched in January 2026, the project seeks to establish a state-of-the-art center that advances music education, sound and acoustics research, creative technologies, cultural preservation, and innovation in Eastern Visayas and beyond.

This consultation serves as an important platform for collaboration and dialogue as we work toward the development and operationalization of the SONATA Center. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute insights and recommendations on:

🎵 Project SONATA goals, implementation framework, and operational plans
🎵 Sustainability strategies and development priorities for the SONATA Center
🎵 Partnerships and collaborative initiatives in music technology, research, education, and cultural preservation
🎵 Stakeholder participation and support mechanisms for the successful implementation of the project
