The SAME-Marketing Department, through Project MARKET, joyfully shares the success of our community partner — the Kwari Home-based Workers Association — in officially registering their business name: “Nanay’s KCare Soap Manufacturing.” 🧼✨

This achievement was made possible not only through the project’s guidance in business registration, entrepreneurial mindset development, marketing competency enhancement, bookkeeping, and records management, but also through the efforts and eagerness of all association members who are committed to the growth of their organization. 💪👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

The School of Accountancy, Management and Entrepreneurship – Marketing Department proudly held a Training on Developing Marketing Strategies under Project MARKET, empowering the Kwari Home-based Workers Association of Brgy. 34-B Quarry, Tacloban City. 💼✨

🤝 In partnership with The Tenorio Foundation’s Project Asenso, grade school children dependents of the association members also received school supplies, supporting both livelihood and education. 🎒📚

🌟 Project Market: Empowering Local MSMEs 🌟

The EVSU-School of Accountancy, Management, and Entrepreneurship – Marketing Department, led by College Dean Dr. Rose Anna Refuerzo and Department Head Prof. Ronna Michelle Edrozo, together with faculty members Dr. Felix Dexter Barrion, Prof. Giselle Janna Joyce Morcilla, Prof. Apple Gen Solaña, and Prof. Charlie Ripalda, proudly conducted their Community Extension Program under the initiative Project Market.

In partnership with the Kwari Home-based Workers Association, with Association President Wermay Oraya and dynamic members, this endeavor aims to support local MSMEs in growing their businesses, particularly those offering essential detergent products and fragrance, by equipping them with effective Marketing Competencies.

📅 On May 8, 2026, a Training on Business Registration, Resource Speaker Dr. Felix Dexter Barrion, was successfully held to guide the association in officially registering their business name with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) — a vital step toward achieving sustainability and legitimacy in the market.

👏 This initiative reflects EVSU’s commitment to community empowerment, fostering entrepreneurship, and building stronger local enterprises.
