Leyte Colleges Brief History The Leyte Colleges is situated at the heart of the commercial center of Tacloban City which on it's 65 year of existence.
This institution was founded during the school year 1945-1946 and was then named Leyte Institute situated originally at the Larraga Building at the corner Sto. Nino and P. Burgos Streets. with seven students in associate arts. During the school year 1946-1947, Leyte Colleges offered a course in Associate in Commercial Science (A.C.S) which earned government recognition sometime on the school year
