Energy, unity, and high spirits filled the air as the SNSC community gathered for a jam-packed double celebration: the annual Sportsfest and the grand culmination of Nutrition Month.
The event proved to be a resounding success, bringing together athleticism, healthy living, and incredible collaboration in an unforgettable day for the learners, teachers and parents.
The celebration kicked off with symbolic lighting of the Sportsfest torch, carried and lit by proud EVRAA and Palarong Pambansa players to embrace sportsmanship, discipline, and camaraderie.
Meanwhile, the school grounds transformed into a stage for vibrant talent. Learners from Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) alongside their enthusiastic teacher took to the floor with lively performances. The crowd cheered on as synchronized dances and energetic numbers showcased the creative rhythm of the SNSC family.
Moreover, highlighting the Nutrition Month celebration was the bustling “Tabuan ha SNSC,” a special marketplace led by very supportive and dedicated parents, setting up colorful booths filled with a wide variety of nutritious food items and healthy products for everyone to enjoy.
To ensure the wellness of the young learners, a Feeding Program was conducted. They eagerly lined up to enjoy delicious, energy-boosting bowls of champorado, giving them the nourishment needed to power through the day’s activities.
The fruitful event underscored the power of strong school-community partnerships. The success of the joint celebration would not have been possible without the leadership and shared effort of everyone involved, School Principal Ma’am Lorena Bonifacio for her visionary guidance and support in driving meaningful campus activities, Sports Coordinator Mary Jane Novida, SELG Adviser and officers, Barangay Officials, SPTA Officers, SBM-WINS Parent Coordinator Charlotte Cabigon , Parents, stakeholders and SNSC teachers for their commitment in preparing and running a seamless event.
Above all, the true highlight of the day was seeing the vibrant smiles on the kids' faces as they actively participated, cheered, and enjoyed every moment of the grand celebration.
