In a generation defined by rapid advancement and modern growth, it is a painful reality that harassment and bullying still force many into silence. When faced with relentless judgment, it becomes easier to hide than to fight back. This silence often leads to a deep downfall, causing individuals to lose hope as they face the heavy burdens of depression, anxiety, and trauma.

True progress isn't just about moving forward socially or academically; it is about how we treat one another. We need to actively foster an environment of inclusivity where individual differences are not targets for ridicule, but qualities to be embraced. Every student deserves to walk through our school halls feeling safe, respected, and valued for exactly who they are.

As the Supreme Secondary Learner Government, we call on everyone to break the silence and stand against harassment. Let us use our collective voices, choices, and actions to lift each other up instead of pointing fingers. As fellow learners and advocates of compassion, we stand in solidarity with those affected and extend our deepest prayers and support during this difficult time.

The Regional Federation of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (RFSSLG) Region VIII, in collaboration with the San Jose National High School SSLG, is launching a donation drive to provide assistance to the victims and their families.
