PCG NSTP CWTS Eastern Visayas The PCG NSTP-CWTS Program, under RA 9163, partners with schools to train students in civic service, maritime safety, and environmental protection.

It promotes leadership, responsibility, and community engagement through activities.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: Students under the PCG NSTP-CWTS program, led by ๐‹๐‚๐ƒ๐‘ ๐Œ๐€๐๐”๐„๐‹๐ˆ๐“๐Ž ๐Œ ๐๐€๐‹๐€๐‚๐ˆ๐Ž ๐๐‚๐†, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a tree-planting activity on 26 April 2026 at Brgy. Payao, Catbalogan City, Samar, in collaboration with personnel from CGS Eastern Leyte, CGS Western Samar, and CENRO.
A total of 200 timber seedlings, including narra and atipolo trees, were planted through the collective efforts of all participants. This activity forms part of the PCG NSTP-CWTS Program of Instruction and supports the mission and vision of the PCGโ€™s ICARE Program.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The PCG NSTP-CWTS Instructors, headed by LCDR MANUELITO M PALACIO PCG, OIC PCG NSTP CWTS, together with CENRO personnel, collected tree saplings in Brgy. San Vicente, Catbalogan. These will be planted in Payao, Catbalogan, Samar, this coming April 19, 2026.

The aforementioned activity is part of the program of instruction which aims to assist in promoting environmental awareness among students and the community.
