🗓️ March 16–20, 2026 — The Tara-Basa Tutoring Program successfully conducted its 5-day Capacity Building Training, gathering our dedicated tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDW) for five days of growth, learning, and preparation. Fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and heart needed to serve every learner with excellence. Each day was filled with purpose, sharpening skills, deepening understanding, and strengthening the commitment to guide every child with care.

Five days. One mission. Because empowered tutors create empowered learners. 💪✨

From your shelves to their hands! The Society of Elementary Education - School of Education, EVSU Tacloban City is calling for book donations for the upcoming extension activity on March 27.

We are accepting used but still usable books and storybooks that can still be read and enjoyed by others.

Here are the details:
WHAT TO DONATE: Used books and storybooks (still in good condition)
DEADLINE: Until Thursday
DROP-OFF: Books will be delivered to La Paz on Friday

If you have books sitting at home that you no longer use, this is a great chance to share them with others. Every book donated makes a difference!

For inquiries or to donate, please give your books directly to your year level representative.

Jona Mae Dacul from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) delivered a stellar athletic performance for the School of Education during the SIKLAB 2026 swimming competitions. Dacul dominated the pool and brought home an impressive four-medal haul.❤️‍🔥

She proudly earned the following placements in her respective categories:
