A pleasant evening to all. I am Shella Mae V. Bretania, the GRIS YES-O President. On behalf of the YES-O Club of Greendale Residences Integrated School, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this Science Month Celebration 2022 possible and successful.
Thank you to our very supportive principal, Mr. Arnold B. Vicentillo, our very dynamic Master Teacher, Mrs. Michelle E. Ocenar, and to all the teachers, especially to our passionate and dedicated YES-O Advisers Ms. Erica Jean P. Rosada & Ms. Kimberly Claire C. Amascual. I would like to give both of you my heartiest greetings. Despite your hectic schedules - preparing for classes, teaching left and right, doing paperworks and too many other things to list, both of you still supported this event and the organization by giving your precious time and effort. And for that, we appreciate both of you.
To all the students who participated this Science Month Celebration, thank you and congratulations. Win or lose, you are all winners. The MVP - our ace in this school. Not everyone has the guts to join, but you took your chances. You confidently showcased your skills, talents, and wits. Thank you for your courage!
As we have witnessed now, all of our efforts definitely paid off.
Humbly, today, we are making history again as this is our first face to face Science Month Culmination Program since the pandemic. And this won't happen without you all.
At last, September may have ended, but our journey will not end.
Into our molecular world, our theme βGenescape: Priming Perspectives, Amplifying Advancements.β, we definitely begin a journey that surely change how we see the world around us.
Did you know that gene therapy can be used to treat and manage hereditary diseases? This is something we now know thanks to molecular biology. (National Science Month Club, 2022)
To my fellow students, may we all continue to probe deep to explore new frontiers in MOLECULAR BIOLOGY.
Again, I am Shella Mae V. Britania, your YES - O President. Thank you and good day.

The new set of officers of YES-O Club had their first General Assembly earlier at one o'clock in the afternoon at Grade 6-Sampaguita room.
Despite the lack of attendance of some officers due to certain reasons, the officers who attended finally had their first meet and greet with their colleagues.
During the assembly, the YES-O advisers oriented the officers about their responsibilities and discussed the calendar of activities and assignment of tasks.
As the officers learned their responsibilities, they wholeheartedly welcomed the challenges.
After the orientation, the YES-O officers proceeded to sort and segregate plastic bottles as it is one of the Science Month activities.
Collected plastic bottles were already piled up near the school's waste segregation facility; thus, the need for sorting and segregation.
With the given opportunity, the officers differentiated the plastic bottles into two kinds: recyclable and "patong".
Recyclable. Good for YES-O benches.
"Patong". Good for YES-O pockets. π
Lastly, after all those sorts, sweats and stamps, the activity ended with a snack of donut and pineapple juice. π

On Monday, September 5, 2022, the YES-O advisers initiated activities for this School Year Science Month at GRIS ground floor.
The teachers and learners showcased their zumba dance moves first.
After the hype & energetic zumba, the opening program started.
On behalf of Sir Arnold Vicentillo, Ma'am Michelle Ocenar had her welcome remarks with a twist. She started a trivia to the students about winter solstice. Afterwards, she gave her remarkable speech.
Followed by the welcome remarks was the introduction of YES-O Officers and Calendar of Science Month Activities. π
Lastly, late greetings to the new set of officers of YES-O Club S.Y. 2022-2023
As always...
New faces. New Mission. New Challenges.
But...
More Learning Experiences. More Memories to Remember.
May we all have a wonderful year together. π

Hello September. Hello Science Month. π
As we celebrated Science Month, the foundation of GRIS - learners, parents, faculty & non-faculty staff, did not forget to held First Friday Mass of the Month at the GRIS Gym.
It was a delightful experience. As we can see, feel, hear, smell, touch, and taste - personally experience - the celebration of the Eucharist with our senses. (Sabay, 2021)
Also, we were blessed by the thoughtful preach of the priest from the Parish of Virgen Dela Candelaria Mission Station.
Their unconditional and continuous visitation in our school are always welcome.
Did you know? It was also the first attendance of the majority of the learners on the said activity after experiencing pandemic and limited face to face.
Truly, with the pressence of God, we can always hope for the better.
We can always pray to make pandemic disappears and make our lives go back to normal like this First Friday Mass of the Month.
Again, normal. As we should always be. π

May 20, 2022, the officers of YES-O, SPG, & SSG of GRIS, spearheaded the management and segregation of waste during the Clean-Up Drive (PINTAKASI), early this morning.
As the implementation of Progressive Face-to-Face Classes already started in our school, the management of waste becomes a heavy burden to our school utilities.
To solve the impending situation, officers of the school's organization willingly helped to ease the problem.
The officers, hand in hand, segregated the waste according to its category: non-biodegrable, biodegrable & glass/metals.
Today's activity helped us to realize the importance of management and segregation of waste.
GRIS Trivia: PINTAKASI is a monthly activity of the school which maintains the school's cleanliness & beautification. It's one of the school's activity which we all from GRIS can be proud of. π
