On October 12, 2003, Alpha Phi Omega – Omicron Alpha Chapter was organized at St. Scholastica’s College Tacloban, through the efforts of Bro. Rex Ryan Quisumbing from Mu Gamma Chapter, alongside Bro. Ruben Bulic and Bro. Rene Garces from Alpha Omicron Chapter. Through their hard work and vision, 16 determined students were recruited, pledging their commitment to exemplifying Leadership, Friendship, and Service.

As we celebrate 22 years of service, we honor our history, our brothers and sisters, and our community. May we continue to be steadfast in our promise to serve and lead, united by the principles we hold dear.

Facts about (APO) ALPHA PHI OMEGA for those who keep on asking me:

1. We are a College- based fraternity.

2. We seek membership base on
"our own freewill and accord"

3. Membership are both for men and women.

4. Members are from different walks of life.

5. Our APO National Office-Philippines is located in Quezon City. APO Administrative Region was introduce in regional levels to ensure the fraternity guidelines are well implemented in Collegiate Chapters and Alumni Associations as well.

6.List of members are kept in secured database.

7. We have nothing to prove because wherever we go and whoever we are with, we SHINE.

8. Scout Royal Brotherhood (SRB) was founded by APO members for High School Students at San Sebastian in 1975. Codes, laws, symbols, rites and ceremonies were mostly derived from Alpha Phi Omega CR&C. It was officially recognized as "brothers and partners" by APONAO by the national executive council board resolution No.******

9. Our 3 Guiding Principles are Leadership, Friendship and Service.

10. We are the first to indroduced Collegiate Service and Scouting based Fraternity in the Philippines in 1950.

11. Our Founding Father Dr. Frank Reed Horton together with 13 chartered members are Freemasons and brothers in Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.

12. Alpha Phi Omega was founded in 16th of December 1925 at Lafayyette College, Easton Pennsylvania, U.S.A

13. We are the worlds first to introduce Collegiate Service and Scouting based Fraternity in 1925.

Yesterday 22nd of July 2023, Members from Omicron Alpha Chapter and Omicron Alpha Alumni Association together with Different Chapters and Alumni Associations in APO-EVAR conducted a successful Tree planting activity held at Brgy. Binongtoan, Tanauan Leyte.

The planting of trees will help protect our environment and natural resources, which will enable us to build a sustainable future.
