Today, September 21, marks the 54th anniversary of former Philippine Dictator, Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.'s declaration of martial law.

The era was known as one of the darkest moments for Filipinos in the nation's history as voices were silenced, injustice was rampant, and freedom was lost.

May this day be a reminder for us and our fellow countrymen of our duty to protect democracy, uphold human dignity, and ensure that such darkness never happens to our nation ever again. โœŠ๐Ÿผ

๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ: Normalistas from different academic and non-academic organizations prep for the 'Kiriglala ngan Harampang: the LNU Acquaintance Party 2026,' on thursday, September 17.

The said event shall commence at 7:30 am in the morning with the introduction of faculty and staff as well as the Oath-taking of newly elected SSC officers to be held at the HRDC Multipurpose Hall.

The event shall continue with the organization's respective acquaintance parties. After which, the day is expected to end with various activities, performances, and surprises prepared by the SSC at the ORC quadrangle for the Normalista community.

The event was graced by LANDBANK Executive Vice Presidents Marilou L. Villafranca and Charlotte I. Conde; Senior Vice President Catherine Rowena B. Villanueva; First Vice Presidents May D. Arizabal and Allan R. Bisnar; and Vice President Danilo Crobalde.
